How can Tom post over such comedy humor though?

I am telling you, I read it on the Internet and it was on the radio. FFS, it has to be true.

Delievered via browser through one of the newground ads. Doesn't do much harm more of annoying. Just pits a window in your tray that you cannot close.

See attached picture for banner and Virus name.

WHERE ALL FUCKING DOOMED. Did Wayne really expect an improvment with a shitty line provder. I don't care if the server has 32 Intel Xeon processors with 6 128Gig SCSI 10k drives in RAID 5. If your line provider = shit then your not going to get improvement.

I'm connecting via Comcast Cablemodem, which is among an odd group of ISPs who take forever to access NG. While the site has been running much better in general since the upgrades, it is running at an ungodly slow rate for people like my parents and Wade, who use Comcast, as well as Shok, who is also in Philly and using Comcast for the holidays.

Anyone get any cool gifts this year? :)

It is when you hit the router leading into the crappy half assed line provider Cogent's network. Now you know how we feel. Go bitch to go cogent to fix the shitty router overloaded routers.

If you know the url of any anti-clock crew icon (preferably on newgrounds) or if you have a picture I would be very greatful.
Anyways.
Thanks for reading.

How can you hate the clocks. All they do is have fun playing with flash. And I have to admit once and while I have given then a good fair rating.

WHen faced with these two equal evils, why should I not choose the more convinent one?

Don't forget the outrages price for one legal mp3 at $3-$5

At 11/29/01 05:47 PM, TomFulp wrote: The following is summarized from Reuters...
Sonicblue Inc. is shipping its newest ReplayTV video recorder, despite opposition from major TV networks (ABC, NBC, CBS), who on Oct. 31 filed suit against Sonicblue, claiming the device violates copyright laws and robs them of revenues by allowing viewers to skip commercials and spread perfect copies of shows via the internet.

Viacom was seeking a permanent injunction prohibiting the sale of the device, spokeswoman Susan Duffy said.

"We feel very strongly that this product violates copyright laws and we intend to pursue our case vigorously," she said. "They ship that product at their own risk."

Everyone should note that the entertainment industry also went after "Betamax", but thankfully the U.S. Supreme Court refused to hold VCR makers liable for people copying movies. Now look at how much money the industry makes from video - The Grinch (on video) made more money than Harry Potter (in theatres) this past weekend!

I am just so sick of the entertainment industry trying to stifle change in order to protect their "good 'ol boy" club. They don't seem to understand the concepts of PROGRESS and STAYING COMPETITIVE. We all saw what happened to Napster - they destroyed an innovative company and stopped NOTHING.

The entertainment industry needs to recognize that there are people out there busting their butts to entertain the masses - and if the mainstream companies don't find a way to get a piece of that, then it is their failure. You can't sit in a hi-rise and smoke cigars forever.

I've said it before - Newgrounds is more entertaining than the crap on TV, and has more daily viewers than many TV shows - yet we are lucky enough to just get by, while each member of the cast of "Friends" brings in a cool $750k per episode. That's right - they got a raise since last season's paltry $500k per episode.

Note: Yes I'm bitter.

$750k could keep Newgrounds running for several/many years, yet these jokers get that much EACH for a 22 minute episode. Advertisers are paying that much to advertise during their show. And ReplayTV users are going to fast-forward past the commercials. GOOD FOR THEM! :)

So what do you think?

Tom is right. Now the fucking Music industry want to block music stores from selling songs over the net that you can download. Maybe if they didn't charge outrages prices people wouldn't steal music so much. Even that can be aruged cause when Napster came out the Music industry saw record profit.
