We are the first in, and the last out of any fucked up conflict. You got a problem? Call the Americans. We'll help. Almost every goddamn country in the world owes the US some kind of debt. We help out everybody. And no we don't just blow the shit out of some place and kill all the civilians. We actually take the fucking time to clear every building, one by one.
I'm not for the war in Iraq, or what my government tells me it's for, but I'm still an American, and I do find myself on both sides of the fence, the America supporters and haters. Check back in a week :)

Oh, and despite what some people may say. We won every fucking operation in Vietnam. You know why we pulled out??? The people of America were fed up with their own being sent of to defend some political bullshit.

Ok. I didn't read everything, so I don't know what's all been said, but...
1. Jeudaism, Islam, and Christianity all stem from the same basis. There really shouldn't be any conflict over religions, but shit happens.
2. Iran considers itself to be a holy country, one with certain rights or claims.
3. The Iran-Iraq War brought Iran's fanaticism to the surface. They formed regiments of unarmed holy soldiers, ranging from young boys to middle-aged men (I forget what they were named). These soldiers numbered in the millions, and were sent wave after wave at enemy encampments, armed with a Qu'ran, and whatever they could scrounge from the enemy. Well, it actually worked (obviously with heavy loss of life) and the Iranians got the idea of continuing the war across the Middle East, to reclaim the holy land they believe they have the claim to in the first place.
4. We (America) didn't like the idea of a big holy war massacre breaking out in the Mediterranean, upsetting our trade. So, the CIA supplied Saddam with weapons (guns, rockets, and missiles, mostly). Iraq won the war.
5. Ever since the Iran-Iraq War, Iran blaims us for their loss. Every Friday, after prayer, Iranians take to the streets with various heartwarming activities as US Flag burning, riots, deathchants, and just generally screaming "Down with U.S!".
6. One of the arguements I've heard on behalf of Iran's nuclear program is "If America can have bombs, why can't Iran". BECAUSE IRAN IS FULL OF PEOPLE WHO WANT TO BOMB THE SHIT OUTTA US!!!!!! THAT'S WHY!!! And everybody knows that we will most certainly not sit by and let it happen. It's not just America, either, numerous countries are on Iran's list.
In other words, I believe Iran has been asking for it for a while.

Yes, I am a geek, and I do quite enjoy my cozy little basement. But I am not basing any of this on "out-of-date" facts and television. The reason I can make such accusations against the general American population, is because I HAVE been out in the real world. I have studied other countries and cultures...voluntarily. Observed the political situation. Looked at how people act and behave. I meet with people every day. And I only create a relationship with a handful of them, because the rest are dolts.
If my info is out of date, please site why.
There are other posts I would like to contest, but I do not have time at the moment.

People hate America because we are fat, stupid, wasteful, arrogant, militaristic, and an overall ethnocentric people.
fat- 33% (one third) of America's population of 20+ years, is overweight.
stupid- 1 in 4 Americans still believe that the Sun rotates around the Earth. When tested against other English-speaking countries, America is the worst speller. "No Child Left Behind" SOUNDS like a good idea, but all it does is kick the stupidest kids out of school, therefore raising the overall IQ of kids in schools across America. WE RE-ELECTED GEORGE BUSH!!!!!! Enough said.
Wasteful- America produces SO much food, that not even our fat asses can consume it all. Every year, hundreds of thousands pounds of American-grown grain is thrown into the sea. We pay our own farmers, not to farm, because we are making too much already. All this, while millions starve. Even here, in America, were 35 million people go hungry every day, 13 million of which, are homeless, helpless children. So, in reality, we are not making too much, but this perfectly viable food is being thrown away, every day. Restaurants have to thrown out food after a certain point, even though it is still practically fresh. We could feed the world. And for free too, since we were going to just throw it out anyway, might as well help someone with it. But no, we can't do that, because then the corporate assholes who actually run this country, would lose power to healthy working people.
arrogant and militaristic- Sanand's social studies teacher told him/her, that people hate us for our riches. Arrogance. We are NOT the richest political body in the world, the European Union is. If anything, they do hate us for blowing the mother loving shit out of every little scrap of land with an enemy on it. We are a relatively young country, yet we have already had 12 wars (counting Iraq and Afgahnistan as seperate wars). That's one war every 20 years. I must admit, though, that we are damn good at it :) lol
ethnocentric- American's like to think that they are superior to all other people's. Even I must admit to this from time to time, but I am overall accepting, and celebratory of other cultures.
This is why I want to go to the UK.
It's about time I head off to bed, so that's all (for now).
