I could add a .wav file from audacity into flash but it's a pain to maneuver around. Because you'd have to use an entire different program just to align the video and sound right.

And of course you can't add a swf to audacity.

I was unsure of where to publish this question and I supposed this was the best place for it.
But what I'm inquiring about is what programs does everyone use or would you recommend for animation, and not only that but what programs can I edit or should I edit in after the animation is done.

For example I want to make the animation sound good too. I use flash and in flash you can't do too much editing on the audio side.

If there's a clock ticking and I want a character to walk past the clock and away from it Id have the clock grow louder then quieter and quieter quieter. However I don't want to have to animate to the sound I want to be capable of adding the sound afterwords.

Could anyone recommend any programs for making the animations look better and not only sound better too?

Well it's sort of difficult to get work as an animator because truthfully not that many people look for one.

But in animation mattering on what it is and how good your work is guaranteed you can be paid anywhere from 10$ - 3000$.
