If you make a shitty post, I'll delete it, but realistically, let's chat and talk about how we can make the BBS a solid fun place again. It's cool if you don't see anything wrong with the BBS, and it's better if you can help me figure out what the users think.
Obviously, I haven't been on this site frequently since my main account was hacked.
From how things used to be, assuming not much has changed. The main problem I had with the Moderation Team in general (not all obviously) was the fact that so many of them just looked for things to ban or lock. Not sure if the rule still stands, but I do believe there was a time posting 4chan meme's would get you banned. Quotes such as "Do a Barrel Roll" would get a mandatory three day ban. Whereas, back in the day, BigBadRon could reply to every topic "LOL" and be a moderator. Should he have been banned? No, many found it funny, but still it was funny arguably so, as is anything.
Some would reply "Do a Barrel Roll" for the sheer fact that it was so overused and were being Ironic. Sure there would be a number of +1 posters doing things like this, but the whole theory that "Large post counts don't matter" should apply to those trying to rapidly gain in post count, and at most should simply have their post deleted.
4Chan aside, I've seen numerous threads that were highly comical, get deleted from mods who were such sticklers about the rules they could be likened to a Mall Security Guard who wanted to use his "power" (or lack there of) as a means of letting out his frustrations or whatever other possible reason he has for acting with no discretion. For such a site that once thrived on it's offensiveness to have such a plethora of rules seems to be such a blatant hypocrisy that it's comical.
However, at this point in time, the main problem I have is simply getting my main account back without an Admins bias against me, and perhaps actually take a look into whoever did the hacking (assuming they still go here) and have some form of reprimanding.
