I can't get over it and the PS3 being 'next gen'. They still seem new to me, while the 360 is probably in the middle of its life span already :'(

Sorry for the strange, strange title.

My Xbox Live Gold membership ran out recently. Usually I just buy a new 3 month redeem code card from a local electronics store (no game stores in Latvia). However, they've started selling only 12 month cards now. If I buy that, I'm wasting money, since I'm mostly out of town in the summer months. I can't buy a new subscription via Xbox Live or Xbox.com, because I have a UK account that doesn't accept Latvian credit cards (I have a UK account because there's no Xbox Live service in Latvia).

I could order a redeem code card from game.co.uk, but that would mean I'd have to wait for a week (and I'm itching to play MW2 online).

So, what I was wondering is if there were any websites where you could buy a 3 month Gold redeem code via credit card, but they just e-mail the code to you or something?

LOTS OF SPOILERS IN THIS POST

Just beat the campaign. Wasn't bad, but wasn't as good as CoD 4. Story was really far-fetched this time around. Like someone said, CoD 4 was cool because it was somewhat grounded in realism.

Anyway, hated the bits in Brazil. Really confusing level layouts and the enemy respawning seemed unfair. The bits in the US were better, but I didn't really love those too. I got the impression that IW just really loved Fallout 3, and wanted to demolish American monuments a bit. "Second Sun" was amazing for the ambience alone though (although the space thing was a bit too far). The Ghost missions were great. Loved the one in the snowstorm, and the one on the oil rig. The stealth missions are the most fun in Modern Warfare games.

"No Russian" was meh.

Did anyone else get a bit pissed off that Soap was made into a roided out freak with a mohawk? I sorta imagined him as a regular dude, and seeing him portrayed like this sorta cheapened both this game and CoD 4.

By the way, this may be absolutely obvious, but Gaz was Ghost, right? Seemed like the same voice actor, and the name really isn't a particularly subtle nod to the end of CoD 4.

I think that'd be a bit extreme. I do like the idea of fucking with the player though. Maybe have the health/life/special bar go backwards, or trick the player into thinking they're winning medals (this game will have medals, right?) that don't really exist, or have a not quite right looking game over screen appear for a moment.

Top two guys are just cannon fodder guys who move in patterns. Bottom guy could be a mini boss or regular enemy. The idea is that his rays could spin and you have to avoid them.
