Fact; The way you act out against or for other people are a mirror to your own self. This is also were it becomes complicated. People act out very differently to different kinds of treatment. Another fact is also that most people has during a certain point of their lives been bullied in some way, may it be just for a week, or may it be for years.

My torment started on the very day i started school. Being the aggressive kind when i was smaller i just became and outsider, but after moving school i lost my self confidence nd just became a easy prey. You say this boy got issues, and thats why hes acting out? Well, try to raise above "he shouldnt act this way" because as i stated before, different people act different to certain treatments. I would actually have been happy if my tormentors would have had some sort of issues, but alas they did not. i got bullied out of sheer boredom, and its in here the moral lies.

If you concider yourself a victim you ARE a victim. I put myself in the position of being prey. Watching me flip out was fun, and now i can see why. I never cried, i never went physical, i just took the shit, and thus it was fun to jump me.

First of all you need to; Understand WHY your taking the shit. Its not your fault they are at you, but you have a great part in it. Your taking the shit, thus you tell this dude its okay.

Second; Violence is a way of telling a person "ENOUGH!" I had a fat bastard constantly jumping me at school and after making a total ass out of myself punching and screaming like a little girl at him, he stopped.

Third; This dude called me stuff during a lesson, and i just tired so i turned to him and said; "The things you say arent true. You know tis for a fact. But your just a fat bastard mate. This is a fact. You know everyone calls you fat behind your back. So again, your just a fat bastard so you can call me whatever you like, your still only a worm in my eyes."

Surprisingly this was enough to make him sob like a little wuss.

Basically; Acknowledge your own part in this. Understand that if you put yourself below someone, you make yourself a prey. Understand that a display of power however weak it is is ALWAYS acknowledged in some way.

Anyway.. Im out of ideas.. Hope this helps :P

You dont give us much to go on here man.. A little more info on coloring, style and what the story was about. Was it a pico day submission? One flash i saw long ago springs to mind, though i dont know what it was about. I do remember a school yarden and a playground though. :P

Also, was it a frontpage submission? AND have you checked top 50 of all time? Ive found quite alot of lost flashes there. Also, if your certain its a high quality flash, you might find the authors other flashes somewere on that list and thus browse your way to it!

Your confusing studying with learning. The reason the human has evolved is cause our ability to LEARN. Ever heard of the expression learning by doing? You see, not everyone is evolving as quickly as some people.

Sure i respect your points, but your first message was bashing, not constructive criticism. If you really wanna help the author, then send him a link to a site wich goes in depth on whatever it is your complaining about OR point out what exactly he is doing wrong in your opinion.

And also, this is a unique style and thus not for everyone.

Yeah cause drawing is something you study, and god forbid if you did it for fun, or as a way to vent.. Man if it werent for people like you were would we all be heading?

Sorry for the double post guys, i finnished earlier then expected lol.

As i noted in another post, im jumping on these sort of things just for practise. I dont know shit about coloring, nor making anything more then a sketch.

He enjoys long swims by the beach, wacthing jaws, and tinker with his facebook. Hes also quite fragile due to his intensities (or however thats spelled) being very exposed. His frontal plates does make up for this, and ofc his generally aggressive attitude discourages any hostile creature.

Oh hell i might just try it out once more.. Though i am confident i will fall flat to my face once more.

Oh well.. Practice is practice!

Im kinda late to the game but anyhow; Yeah i know, but i kinda just stumbled upon it so i thought id just try out making a creature. I just kinda got back to drawing so its practise practise practise. I just jump on anything that comes up so i get a chanse to try new stuff i wouldnt normally do. :P

Seems im very late to the game lol.. Anyway i managed to throw something together.. Didnt turn out as i wanted at all so meh..

Here goes :P

First of all; Yes i am intending on using a light style on the comic.

Next, i agree on i should be using my own work, but its more about getting inspiration then ripping of a full character.. Besides i cant draw other peoples work. It always comes out very different :P

And you also make a very good point about the whole background so ima give you something to chew on;

Its set in a chatoic world that is in the center of a sort of vortex or whatever. Every year a rift will tear thrue the foundations of the world and spew out random creations. These creations are everything from cute cuddly creatures to hell spawns hell bent on tearing flesh. Insanity is also widely spread in this world due to it constantly warping. Large masses of land can suddenly appear, dissapear and change. The comic is set to start on one of the days the rift opens, and we follow a young creature from birth and onwards. Also the reason all their eyes are looking like that is cause they have no souls.. Wich ofc is a plot device in its on self so i will not explain that further ;)

This is some of the characters that i have worked out. I feel it also has to be said; Its set in a world that kind of gloomy and dark. Im actually somewhat inspired by Corpse Bride. Also, only way of eating is by eating other creatures. There are no real races. Only bigger or smaller creatures. The small ones you see here are kind of everywere and they are considered food.

After being a member for years now i FINALLY made my way to the NG forums. I have to say im quite amazed how friendly users are especially in the art ones. This forum happens to fit me perfectly now because im currently doodling some about this comic idea i have! Im starting this post mostly cause i want some feedback on characters, and most importantly help. Ive come back after a major writing cramp witch lasted for maybe 4-6 years now so im really rusty.

What i wanna gain from this is;

- A smashed ego as in criticism. If you disslike anything, point it out and i shall concider it.

- People making up characters they feel could fit into the comic. Items, types of transportation (trucks tanks, cars) and also different types of clothing.

- Names! I currently have no names for any of my characters, or even the world the comic is suposed to be set in so anything is apreciated.

- Tips for tutorials that go in depth on anatomy, different styles of inking or just anything that seems helpfull. Now i HAVE watched quite a few tutorials but every tutorial is very different from eachother so.. Found something interesting? Post it!

I wont really go in depth on the story cause for one i feel its the wrong forum, and secondly i dont wanna end up finding my story in some other comic.. Or site for that matter.

I can say this much; its kind of a post apocalyptic world. There will be magical elements, but its also sort of scifi. Monsters demon like creatures etc etc. Its also a genderless world, and all in greyscale pimped up with color effects to put a greater emphasis on spells and effects.

Pics on scenery skies and such are also VERY welcome! And are you interested in helping out more in depth you can always send me a pm and we can discuss it..

For now im just show casing though!

Clarification;

Under Socialism there is Communism and Socialism. I see lots of people confusing these two with eachothers, but in reality there are loads of differences. Both have a strong state, but thats where the simillarities stop. In communism the state is supreme. Everything is owned by the state, and also, split equally amongst everyone.. The problem is that this system is so easy to abuse for those in power, that people in the end gets to suffer for the leaders abuse.

Socialism on the other hand is a far more liberal form of Socialism (confused yet? :P). The state controls the infra structure of a country, as in police, fire fighters, hospitals and so on. The major difference is that you get to reap what you sow. Work hard and you will have a greater benefit, whilst as a communist it gets split equally. Then again keeping the infra structure going also make socialism have higher taxes then general. Also, if you start up a factory you own it in socialism, while as a communist the state owns it.

What am i saying here then?

For a comic i will might not hopefully can make sometimes near or far in the future.. Yep..
