Finished a game for the Construct 2 Jam not too long ago, and I thought it was my best game yet! The score says otherwise though (with only a 2.65 atm). I only have one review at the moment so I really have no idea what problems people are having with it.

I guess this is a call for feedback so I can actually improve from this game, as of right now it was a waste of time as I don't really know why the few people who played it didn't enjoy it.

Its an auto-running with handmade levels etc. Kind of a dried up genre but whatever.

Im assuming its okay but il ask anyways. Not that anyone would be able to tell (I think...) but would making a game fully in code & not using their code blocks thing at all be within the bounds of the contest. Essentially, Stencyl is a framework on top of Flixel, so as long as you use that framework/compile with Stencyl it is within the contest bounds?

Sorry if this is a stupid question, just dont want to start a game to find out it doesn't qualify for this reason.

Flash costs way to much Posted April 29th, 2007 in General

So I really want to start learning to use flash and maybe learn some actionscript but theres one problem.......i dont have flash....and i cant buy it because I dont have $700 laying around (thats how much FlashCS2 cots) so i was wondering if everyone here jus coughed up the money for flash or got it some other way (older version maybe?) if so howd you get it.

So the buttons might still be too big, the vertical height too tall, and the slogan too bland - but beyond that - any other bugs / glitches with the new header?

Personnaly i think the header is....alright one thing i though that would be good and keeping with the army theme would be to put some fighter planes flying in a V formation in the sky
