Anyway, I wonder if stem cells could play a role in the creation of a more animal-like race of humans. With advances in medicine, DNA will be able to be manipulated to suit needs. Maybe joining animal and human DNA would work somehow...

But you do have to consider ethics when you try something as big as that. But it sure as heck would be awesome to live amongst anthros. And I agree with Volcano that humans would definitely shun such a species if it ever came to be.
