It depends on what you are doing........... If you are using loops or if you are using it as a mixing "console". Or if you are using it for a sequencer. I'd recommend something like fruity studio before Acid. Acid is a great program, beautiful even. Just better to use for post-production and multi-tracking than actually making music.

The preloader is just a somewhat small graphic and text field to show progress. The problem lies with the attachsound property that puts all audio before the first frame, (the first frame of the preloader). The only way I can think of to get around that is to dynamically load the audio, but I dont want to do that with a newgrounds submission.

Making a preloader is easy enough, but for some reason all the preloaders I make, and even the one I download from new grounds, wont display until after a good portion of the file is loaded. (I believe its after the music is loading). Now, I dont want to dynamically load the audio, so is there a way around this?

Hello, I have a problem I am having trouble fixing.

When I make preloaders, it doesn't show the preloader until all of the audio is loaded. And by then it's usually at like 40-50%. What can I do to fix this problem?
