welcome to the club!. of course no one minds, in fact we are happy to have new members, post from time to time reviews for the movies you see or books you read or whatever you think could be interesting.

oh yeah theres some sort of lame ranking system so wait a few days and someone will assign you a rank

Regarding Ichi the Killer, I can't find the movie anywhere--but I have seen the trailer countless times in the past.

the trailer is great isnt it? although in my opinion the movie is not as violent as the trailer could lead to believe. i think you should be able to find it on dvd i have seen the dvd here in many places

which other horror movies do you like?

i think thats is exactly what happens with guns, people are too irresponsible to be allowed to carrysomething specifically built to kill.
so surely the next logical step is to only allow those persons proven, via a stringent application process, to be responsible and competent to own firearms, thereby eliminating irresponsible gun owners form the equation?

well i definitely dont think it is possible to determine who will and who wont be a responsible gun owner through an application process, i really dont see how such process could be any reliable.

And even if such process would be reliable, by allowing firearms to some, irresponsible owners would still have it much easier to get them than if they were not allowed at all.

less guns = more crime
its like saying

more atomic bombs = less war
Hmm, you just made it worse for youself in your reasoning. MAD, or mutually assured destruction, is basically, if you launch a atomic bomb at you, I will launch one back. So basically more atomic bombs does equal less war.

that was my point i was being sarcastic,

i agree with that, apparently ray bradbury didnt like that at all

on an interview he said:

"Michael Moore is a screwed asshole, that is what I think about that case. He stole my title and changed the numbers without ever asking me for permission

...

Do you disagree with his opinions...?

-That has nothing to do with it. He copied my title, that is what happened. That has nothing to do with my political opinions. "

i dont think he needs to make much up, the president provides more than enough material

i laugh at teh sutff he says about anti gun stuff. "no one should have guns" then he goes to 1 town in Canada and says "do you all have gun shootings here?" while in the best part of the town, only interving a few people who gave the response he wanted!

you can make some statistics research on the internet and verify the point his trying to make
