On Thursday (late thread, lol) I had the privilege of going to see A7x live. (as my birthday present, even though my birthday was in August). It was amazing. A7x were joint-headlining with a band called Stone Sour which is some of the guys from Slipknot (better than Slipknot) and the guests were a band called HELLYEAH (Dimebag Darrel's brother on drums).

The new drummer (Mike Portnoy, from Dream Theater) is absolutely amazing too. Midway through a song he started throwing his drumstick to the roadie and the roadie threw it back to him, and he did it as if it were nothing. He was the Rev's favourite drummer, and really there's no one better to take his place.

I suggest you go see a7x live right now. Seriously. Cancel what you're doing and go see them live. NOW. Just wanted to make a thread about it for a reason that I forgot whilst typing it, but I might as well post it now that I've typed it up.

I like Manchester, UK. I live kinda near it and I go there sometimes. It has Forbidden Planet, Affleck's Palace (you can go there to buy band posters and t-shirts from people with nose rings. and if you're of "that" persuasion, baggy chained pants), and for some reason a massive gay district.
