here's my plan!

STATS

Primary shelter - Lucky for me my family all lives all on the same block and pretty close together. My grandfathers house is just west of mine, and my cousin's just north. I would probably have my cousin Trace with me, but if not I will have to go alone. I will use my grandfather's barn for my primary abode. It has a storm shelter connected to it. I will sleep in the loft and keep most of my supplies there also. I will barricade the barn with lumber, scrap metal, tables, couches and other furnishes for a sturdy defense.

Location/town size or population density - Small town in Texas/3,635 population

Nearby cities - Abilene TX - 44 Miles away, Dallas 191 Miles away, Lubbock 148 Miles away, Wichita Falls 112 Miles away, small TX towns in every other direction.

ABILITIES

I can vault fences, and climb things without much trouble. I can sprint for pretty good distances because of track. I am half way through my training in Krav Maga Link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Krav_maga so I know how to fight.

CLOTHING

During the day I will wear urban camouflage pants, a camouflage bandanna to cover me face, mossy oak camouflage Under Armor and camouflage steel toe boots. During the night I will wear dark camouflage pants, dark colored Under Armor, black steel toe boots, and a black bandanna covering my face.

EQUIPMENT

Considering I live in Texas I have access to a lot of outdoor supplies and firearms. At my house I own three Winchester shotguns and have access to at least 300 shotgun shells, as well as my Winchester Hunting rifle and 150 bullets, and my .357 Revolver and 200 bullets. My grandfather and uncle own several Winchester shotguns and hunting rifles and well (at least 18 combined) and 800 shotgun shells and 500 bullets. Besides firearms I have several butcher knives if they get in close, as well as a fire axe, a hunting and survival knife, a Swiss Army knife, and my dad's chainsaw (I will siphon out the gasoline in the cars for gas).

STARTING OUT

I will set up makeshift alarms out of rope and cans throughout the wooded area behind my house to alert me. I will also set up bear traps to slow the infected down. I will set up hammers on chains as traps well. I will sharpen tree branches with my survival knife and set them up in trenches to impale them. I will set up pots and pans on the roof to collect rain and boil the water before drinking. I will cover the food with a tarp and chain and lock it down in case of intruders when I am gone.

DAY TO DAY LIVING

I would ration my food carefully, considering that I can go for long spans of time with very little sleep and food. I would finish off the perishable foods first. I will raid houses and the many convenience stores near my neighborhood for supplies. I have many books to read including survival guides to keep me busy. I can also work out with my weights and 3 work out machines that help with core lifts.

SUPPLY ACQUISITION

Luckily I should have enough weapons to take care of a thousand zombies. They probably won't come in excessive numbers because of the spread-out nature of my town. I will use the traps I have listed in STARTING OUT, to take them out and slow them down so I should have ammo to spare. Of course I'll be raiding houses and stores so my supplies should be alright in number (as far as food and ammunition goes). I have plenty of emergency flare and survival kits as well (containing emergency blankets, canned food, and fresh water). I also have 3 crank-able lamps and FM/AM CV Radios. I will wear the clothing I mentioned above and bring four duffle-bags for the supplies when I raid houses and store for supplies. I will sneak in carefully and get everything from weapons and ammunition, to canned and non-perishable food, and fresh water. There's farms everywhere with plenty of food. Supermarkets as well. If I can't get back before nightfall I will lock my self in and get to a good defensible position (probably up stairs) and hold there until daybreak. When I get back I will figure up how much I have to ration to see how much time I have until I have to go raid again. Since I live in Texas firearms and ammunition will probably not be too rare.I should not run out of supplies anytime soon as you can see.
