Also, a fair amount of the people who visit the Audio Portal are audio artists themselves, therefore can offer useful feedback, whereas the vast majority of people who play games and watch movies are just plain idiots who know nothing about the actual process of producing that work.

At 8/22/09 03:52 PM, UnreaK745 wrote: 1. Newgrounds - I must say that NG takes up about 15% of my life now.

That's an hour or two every day? Understandable.

2. WoW - Per total, WoW takes up about 40% of my life now.

So that's like 10 hours playing WoW every day?

3. Social life - This is what I'm thinking I might improve on, but it's hard when I'm addicted to WoW.

GTFO your house and meet up with friends. Playing WoW with them doesn't count.

4. Electric Guitar - Yeah... I like playing it and my ambition is to become really good at it, but I don't really have enough patience.

Find songs you like, learn how to play them etc.

5. Playstation Gaming - My favorite console. My PS3. I haven't played on it ever since I started playing WoW.

You poor thing.

6. Skateboarding - I also like doing this, but sometime last year I had an incident and forgot how to do some basic tricks

Go skate with friends.

Basically, don't spend so much time on WoW, and go spend time with real people. When school starts save WoW for the weekend and fit in homework and stuff during weekdays.

Pretty sure they posted a game here once.

I'm really loling at their video that was posted here a while back, about the reasons to be a vegetarian, such gems including "meat is bloody and disgusting" (well that's why we cook it and make it flavoursome and delicious..) and "in every packet of chicken there is a bit of poop" (that one doesn't even need a sarcastic reply from me).

I love PETA. They are a hilarious organisation made for the sole purpose of trolling everyone IRL, all you idiots need to stop taking them so seriously.

Even so, the videos are being viewed via youtube and not on Newgrounds, so that gives them all the traffic and not Newgrounds, which should rightfully be getting it.

The Art section could be brought very easily as well. However the Audio section because its encoded in flash, i'm not sure if that can be done. I can look a bit more into adding those things though.

Surely it can't be too hard to get the audio streaming from the download link? I've seen a few tutorials around saying how to do so.

Hopefully adobe will get its ass in gear sometime soon and develop decent flash for mobile phones..

Muse has released 30 second previews for every song on their upcoming album, The Resistance on iTunes today.

Interestingly, the last three tracks on the album are a three-part "symphonic" piece.

So go there, click that shit and then complain to me how they are ripping off radiohead and queen. Alternatively, click that shit and enjoy.

Album is out September 12.

Not trying to shit all over your work, take this as constructive feedback.

So basically, this app works by finding Newgrounds flash movies on youtube and just playing that.

So you are supporting people stealing flash movies and putting them on youtube? Sure it's all well and good if the author puts their own movies there but 99% of the time it isn't them.
