I watched it. It honestly made me sad. Sony Ericsson also recently released the X1 which just looks like the sex with it's touch screen plus sliding QWERTY keyboard.
But to answer your question directly, nokia seems to have avoided the touchscreen bandwagon, and I think they had plans for a touch screen phone but I have never bothered to see if it has been released.

I agree completely, I cannot get iTunes to sound decent on my desktop with good speakers no matter what settings I have the EQ on. WMP gives me the best sound quality, out of iTunes, VLC and WMP.

Sony Ericssons do tend to wear out after a year or so of use, but nokias do generally last a long time, and you can get a ton of apps and games for them. But I just can't at all reccomend getting a Samsung. : (

Do you HAVE to choose a Samsung? From my experience all of their products are poorly made and not worth the money. I'd reccomend a Sony Ericsson or a decent-priced Nokia, they will keep you happy.

That's pretty much the same situation at my job (except of course 18 not 21). Also the government sends (supervised) underage kids randomly to shops and supermarkets to try and buy cigarettes, and if they are allowed to buy without being ID'd, the shop is basically in the shit.

I work at *certain independant supermarket chain* and I was never told anything about asking for ID when I was trained on checkouts, but I generally ask for ID if the person looks under 20. I'm pretty strict about selling alcohol or tobacco to minors, which I suppose is somewhat hypocritical of me..
