Yes, colds can do that, particularly if you have an inner ear infection. If you are really concerned that it is wax, go to a doctor and they can remove it for you. Otherwise just get lots of vitamin C and wait for it to go away.

No, it is not at all illegal. When you submit audio to the portal you acknowledge that people may download your audio for free, and may use it in non-commercial movies and games.

I read the 21 chapter version. It really rounded the book off for me, personally.

I was actually rather sad when I found out there was another chapter left out of the film adaptation. I had loved the film for a year or so before I decided to read the book, and every time I watched it afterwards it always felt unfinished.

Its a real toss-up for me trying to decide which version is better, I really admire what Kubrick did for the story, not a lot of directors would be able to accomplish what he did. Some parts of the story had to be toned down for the film, obviously (scenes involving drugging and raping 10 year old girls aren't really going to make a good reputation for a film) It also saddens me that Kubrick had to pull the film from the public for 20 or so years because people were blaming him for copycat killings and whatnot. Perhaps people just weren't ready to appreciate it.

This thread reminds me of the time my friend was complaining to me that he couldn't see any difference between dvd and blu-ray. I then asked him if his tv was HD and he said no. He then proceeded to tell me what blu-ray movies he was going to buy anyway.

Tl;DR - If you don't have a good tv, don't waste money on blu-ray.

On topic, despite having a lovely big HDTV at my disposal, I do not own any blu-ray movies for lack of a blu-ray player. HDMI upscaling on my dvd player does look fairly lovely, however. But that doesn't really do much for the audio.
