I want to eventually be good enough to make my own comic series, possibly a web comic. I'll take any and all criticism for any and all of my artwork, but what I post here, I'd especially like opinions on. This first piece is a character that I designed specifically to try and make fantasy armor for a female warrior that was more functional than sexy.
This is pretty good! However, I am not a total fan of how you drew those enormous cartoony eyes. You could always add some shading as well. Overall, phenomenal job of maintaining that authentic Chinese warrior appearance!

Great work! However, the hues are bit light for my taste, and I was a bit perplexed by the claws and how they seemed to intersect with the cloth of the robe. You may need to distinguish the ending and beginning of edges there.

I decided to attempt a proper proportion drawing, but I suppose it's my fault for not using a ruler, since the paper never seems big enough. Also them tits...are terrible, lines everywhere :) oh well.
Worked on some mouths. Did some "blind contour drawing" with that woman's face, then tried to fix up the things that I could.
I worked in pen because I explicitly didn't want to erase with these, just force myself to do some quick studies without spending tons of time on one thing.
Cool! I love how you demonstrate your comprehension of shading in this sketch. True potential! Please continue posting; your fantasy creatures are captivating and give me a jolt of real creativity!

Note: This is before I add color and put in special effects.
I hope my critique is not overly acrimonious; I feel that proportion-wise, your artwork could use some minor adjustments. The hands seem a tad too large, and the alignment of the mouth seems shifted a bit to the left. Additionally, the angle of the chin could be more aesthetically appealing, although I understand that the angle is difficult to execute. Overall, I think the background is definitely gorgeous and captivating, though not dominating over the surfer. Attention to detail is quite evident there, but I'd love to see some improvements on the surfer. Great job!
