IE7 is alright but I find that is very large. It takes up a crapload of space compared to FireFox.

Whats the purpose of a FireWire cable? Can you substitute it for an Ethernet cord? If so, is it faster? Should I substitute it for my Ethernet cord connected from my Modem to my computer?
I run Windows XP if that has any drastic difference.
