Response to: Gone Immigrant Huntin'? Posted May 28th, 2005 in Politics

Can someone remind me why illegal immigration is a problem in the first place?

I really haven't heard any consistant or proven problem with the whole illegal immigration deal.

From everything I've read in the past it seems that it always comes down to some racist opinion or something about immigrants taking "american" jobs, which by the way, is a load of crap : /

Please elighten me, great ones.

Put your alarm clock on the other side of the room so that when it goes off you HAVE to get up out of bed. Put a tin of Penguin mints next to it and eat like a handfull. Don't take a shower in the morning, that just wastes time, take it before you go to bed, it will fuck with your hair but you get like 15 minutes of extra sleep. Another helpfull idea is to invest in a thermos, I got like a 1.5 liter thermos at the grocery store for like ten bucks. Not only will you have a sexy metallic container filler with the hot/cold beverage of your choice but it also works as a great conversation starter. Yes, I have picked up chicks with my thermos. Shit you not.

A government should exist to serve the needs of its citizens.
It should be democratically elected by a significant proportion of the population.

Do you believe that the government of the United States actually is around to do what's best for us? Last time I checked, in every election, the entire campaign of another candidate is just a political mud-sling fest where the politicians mad mouth each other to death and try to make themselves look "appealing" to the masses. "Hey everyone look at me I go to political conventions with my kid, I go and eat at McDonalds just like everyone else, and I good, wholesome, american values just like all of you, that makes me your best choice in this election!"

Every politician, save the most righteous one, is only around to further their political careers.

How do you think president Bush won the election? The dumbass has an IQ of 91 (just go to google and type in Bush's IQ or somthing, I didn't feel like posting a source).

By only letting the top 10% of 20% vote we will get a better representation of which candidate is actually going to do somthing good for the country.

Response to: Humanity has died... Posted January 6th, 2005 in Politics

So, lets say hypothetically that life and the universe was created by a god. Ah, questions arise don't they?
Who created god?
Well, last time I checked god has been around since the dawn of time, even though time is a concept developed by mankind.
People say that god created us in his image and that the phenomena known as life is too complex to naturally occur. How was god created then? Seems like the only two possible solutions would be that either there is an infinate number of gods that systematically create new universes and new gods, or maybe that god came into existence naturally. If we are created in god's image would't god's body also be so complex that it could not be created naturally, according to most religious texts and arguments? So aren't the chances of a god existing the same as the chances of the universe simply existing in the first place and evolution being a fact? However you look at it, there is a undoubtable fact that whether or not a god exists, the simple fact that any living thing exists, or any thing for that matter, evolution of some kind had to occur. Which leads back to the first question "Who created god?" well if we now accept the inevitable fact there is evolution of some kind as the only possible way for a god to exist, couldn't the roles simply be reversed?- humans evolving in the same way a god would HAVE to and then creating a god in THEIR own image or vice versa?

O_o chew on that bitches.

Murder isn't the only crime you can get the death penalty for. For example, dessertion in a time of war is also punishable by the death penalty and, in my opinion, is one of the stupidest things in the world. Specify what kind of death penalty you're talking about, do a little research before you post, oh a again - WRONG THREAD.

In an incredibly exreme communist goverment, yes what you are saying is correct. However, people fail to grasp the concept that there abilities (your example, a doctor) given to them by natural selection could acutally be used to help society as a whole. The only reason why he is flipping burgers and you are working hard as a doctor is because you are smarter than he is, you should take pride in the fact that you are working harder than he is and then as such, is helping society more than he is.

You sound like one of the people that supports things like the shutting down of the state hospitals when Reagan was in office or not supporting things likr socialized medical care to help the people who can't afford it. You disgust me.

Response to: Communism Vs Capitalism Posted December 1st, 2004 in Politics

Socialism > Democracy > Communism > Anarchy

Communism is forced sharing, socialism is partially forced sharing but also requires the individual to cooperate with the system. However, socialism cannot work due to human nature. Human beings are greedy and violent. When a doctor relizes that he is getting the same benifits as a janitor, he gets angry and when people get angry they incite viloence which (usually) leads to some kind of revolution. People fail to look at the Capitalism/Socialism picture with an open mind, people do what is ALWAYS better for them and not for society or someone else, they always have hidden agenda. Capitalism is the only governmental system that can satisfy humans in a 1st world country. Look at Sweden's governmental system, it takes the best pieces of socialism and capitalism and combines them. For example, socialized medicine. What is wrong with socialized medicine you ask? - People do not want to pay for other people's medicine if the can't afford it, they want to hoard all of their money for themselves. If the conservatives would have it there way, there would be NO taxes at all (extremeist conservatives, mind you) and the country would fall apart due to the lack of funding to infrastructure, education, the military, etc. If there were no taxes then people would have to give money to the government money at their own will, which then verges on communism/socialism. However, due to the fact that the people who did not want taxes, wanted to keep all the money for themselves, why on earth would the give money to the government at their own will? The country would then fall into a state of anarchy but eventually government would have to return, due to the fact that anarchy does not work either. Basically, government as it is sucks but no government sucks more. If we really wanted to make the world a better place, people need to stop thinking about what is best for them and start contributing to society to make it better.
