What else do you have running off this PSU? Secondly, is this PSU a shitty value one that you bought for 20 bucks, because that might be your problem.

I got a pre-built (yes I know I know..) of a Gateway FX-4710... I dont think that its a shitty PSU, and I'm running a Geforce 9800GT, Intel Q9300, 4GB of ram, 2 HDDs, and speakers.

It's a 400 watt PSU, and if that is the case, would it be a better idea just to return the sound card or get a new PSU?
