I just started learning to draw in flash, and as one of my first pictures, i decided to draw something skyrim related because of my severe lack of originality. If you could take a look at it and give me any pointers, critiques, or general comments, it would be greatly appreciated. Also, i realize the "arrow to the knee" jokes are played out and dead, but i just had to put it in there anyway, so i apologize and please bare with me.

i know the way to do it would vary from program to program but im just wondering about the general concept of getting that type of sound

how do i access the rob papen predator plugin on logic express? i have it installed and when i go to the audio units manager under preferences it recognizes that predator is there i just dont know how to access it

As for the overall sound of the bass...I dunno, it's up to you. It's a basic 2 osc synth, so it shouldn't take you too long to find something workable.

As an added bonus, see if it's possible to automate the tmp sync within your DAW. That will allow you change the movement of the wobble on the fly (ie, wobbling every quarter note, to every eighth note)

thanks for the help, although i think i am actually gonna go with xkore's suggestion and do a rob papen plug. decided i will go with albino 3 despite the cost (thats what christmas is for :] )

can anyone whos familiar with poizone tell me how to get the dubstep type bass with the LFO? i can only find dubstep tutorials that involve other programs, so the methods are different seeing as how other softwares have different types of settings.

price range would be up to a few hundred dollars. it doesnt need to have too many keys, just enough to make some decent dubstep synth sounds. what else can i get out of it besides playing it? im new to the whole music editing thing :/

ok so im having a bit of trouble connecting to xbox 360 live and was wondering if anyone here could possible help considering the support section of xbox.com was of no help at all.

when i test my connection, i get the message "your NAT type is moderate. people on networks with this NAT type may not be able to join certain games of hear other people while playing online. for the best online experience, you need to open NAT configuration"

also, just so you know, my connection is with a scientific atlanta DPC2203C modem, and airport extreme. i have bridged my xbox to the router by connecting it with ethernet to my macbook.

so when i try to find out how to possible fix this issue, i get 2 responses:
1:turn off all devices (router, modem, etc) and after a few minutes turn them back on in order.
i tried this, and it didnt work

2:if your router supports UPnP, on your PC, go to your router configuration web page and enable UPnP.
i am not too proficient with computers so i dont really understand what UPnP is. i am not even sure if airport extreme supports UPnP and my google search to find out did not really turn up with an answer, just people complaining about how bad UPnP technology is.
also, if it does support it, i cant figure out what the configuration web page would be (maybe im just an idiot)

besides these two methods, would anyone else have a suggestion about how to possibly fix my current situation? any input would be greatly appreciated

im not trying to use this to tell if someone i particular likes me. i just heard this recently, thought it was interesting, and was curious if anyone else had come across this same tidbit of info

i heard that its possible to tell if someone is attracted to you by looking at their eyes. supposedly if they are interested in you their pupils become much larger when they look at you. i think its something to do with that their eyes are trying to take in more light so they can see you better or something.

can anyone confirm if this is true?

your best bet is to just flush it out by drinkings tons and tons of water. if you do that then a month is plenty of time

not really directly related to the OP but i think i should spread this knowledge so that others wont have the same fuckup i did...

when doing mushrooms make sure you have one place to stay, and dont leave that general area the entire duration of the trip. unlike acid, which can have mild energy boost side effects similar to amphetamines, mushrooms make you sluggish. my experience started great but there was a lack of planning for what we'd do that day, things got fucked up, we moved around A LOT and i had a terrible trip that fucked with my mind to the point of mild trauma. i got locked inside my own mind and flashbacked/relived my entire life twice but in a hellish sort of way....not gonna get deeper into that.

yea mushrooms are fairly safe too. just gonna say this again though so you dont do it too much. while the psychoactive components in acid (LSD) and mushrooms (psilocybin) are not physically deteriorating, they can do a number on your mind if you arent careful. remember, dont try any heroic doses, or trip too many times with too little time in between doing it.

to tell the truth, weed will have far less risks for you in the future. i know acid isnt too bad for you physically, and im not trying to denounce it (im a huge psychedelic drug supporter) but taking lsd everyday can fuck you up mentally, even at low doses. just look at what happened to syd barrett before he died. he was pretty fuckin insane because he tripped all the time

you mustve been really desperate for that microwave. i dont know the penalty around where i live. i only know one person whos been caught but it was just for stealing swedish fish from a riteaid. all that happened to him was that he was yelled at for 4 hours by cops and he had to give the swedish fish back...

Nothing, especially deleterious substances, has no negative effects on the body. Acid especially. They may not be immediately noticeable, however they exist. And don't do acid.

of course every drug has negative side effects, they just arent nearly as bad as the propaganda makes them seem. EROWID is a good website that lays out all the pros/cons of drugs, the risks, the falsities that are in propaganda, etc. its a very objective site that doesnt try to hide anything or exaggerate anything, plus it has links to lots of other professional sources of info as well
