Also there are very much questions about the bible and God etc. that they make Bible sound like bed time stories... for example if Jesus could cure everything, why did he cure so few, why didn't God simply remove those sickness from this world, why do babies die when they are born and their mothers also, there are like 10000 more of those...

Free will?

Maybe?

he did (supposedly I am saying) give us the gift of life. And to live how we please. Ya know;

Free will and all;

This is just the way we chose to live. and those "miracles" that happen. Are him probably trying to help. But in the smallest of ways. Cause. Ya know; free will and all ;p

And in case you're gonna respond with "well miracles by your viewpoint are him still messing around with our free will"

No.

Not at all; cause everything WE OURSELVES do affects everyone and everything around us. So his miniscule of a help. sets off a chain of events that does help us.

See what I'm sayin?

Anyways i'm going to bed. Good night.

The ability to grow at 121° Celsius is significant because for over a century it has been the temperature used to sterilize medical equipment. Scientists thought that such temperatures would kill all life-forms. "It's kind of a benchmark," Lovley said. "This is like breaking the four-minute mile."

STOP: ...... that's where you went wrong.

You tried EXPLAINING something that isn't SCIENTIFIC at all. You're telling me that because you can't scientifically prove or explain something. that it doesn't exist at all?

Now i'm not jumping on the bandwagon or anything and religion bashing you or anything. Cause I myself am not entirely sure of if god exists or not. but I DO however, believe in a divine power. Something out there after us. A creator as you could say.

I used this in a different post earlier in the past few days. But in a way it works. Do you believe in spirits? yes or no. If you do; then you should very well believe in a soul. If you do; then you should very well believe in some sort of after life. Some sort of god.

Because; by your thinking; spirits and souls can not be scientifically proven. Or explained. They just are.

Some things you just don't need answers for. Some things just do not HAVE answers. at least; not in this time and age. And if there are people who do have the answers. It will take allot more than logical thinking to explain.

I don't know, it's a lot of flak for something that doesn't really affect them or my character. I have good morals and a good solid moral compass. I give to charity and I do good all around. I'm not as big of an asshole as I was when I was younger and I'm always striving to be better.

I don't know what to do, has anyone else gone through this?

Yes; in a way. I have recently grown spiritually. I myself was raised by religious parents. or Parent anyways. (no plural) And had a very hard time understand the possibility of a god. If he created us. What created him? etc etc. If the big bang theory is real. then what created that? and so forth and so forth. On and on in a never ending series of questions. If you ever get to the time to read up on books about your mind body and soul. Or strange books such as one called "psychic reading" I think it's called. Can't remember. You'll get to learn things about intuition (that gut feeling you can't really explain.. Like how you know something you shouldn't know just by a mere feeling; more stuff like about your soul. And soooo many other things that would seem farfetch'd to anyone. Until you look into it.

Just because something isn't scientifically explained. doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

aka spirits. Souls. etc etc.

These are all just minor examples I can give. Have any other questions?

Your ignorance is pissing me off, if you do not want to assist then dont even bother posting. And the link I provided from the WHO was to show there have been much more cases of swine flu in the US than in Mexico. Also you can get a proper health care here in the remote case you fall sick, the normal flu you clam to be killing people, well is nothing to be worried about either Mr statistics, because those that have died are mostly elder or people that for several reasons never visited the doctor.

Ignorance? what ignorance. Last I remember. The cartel DOES exist. they kidnap 13 and 14 year olds to train them to be just as badass as a U.S. soldier. If you don't believe me then go look it up yourself. And the swine flu really is not that bad at all. If you could even BEGIN to comprehend my level of humor. You'd know I was only fucking with you the whole time.. I never said the regular flu killed anyone lol. I merely said it was basically THE SWINE FLU. and had the same CHANCES as killing people who had the swine flu.

Response to: Atheists on Newgrounds! Posted December 16th, 2009 in General

I've seen and heard some crazy shit. I fully believe in spirits and souls after some of the shit i've experienced.

Most people don't believe in spirits; But if you do.. then you believe in a soul. If you believe in a soul; then I hope you believe in some divine power. Or else I dunno what to say to you.

Most people on NG are too fucking ignorant to back up or even have an argument to start any religious debate that comes up. And the few who do; aren't educated enough in their own religion. They just kindof "are in the religion" for one reason or another. Because they were brought up on it. Or their parents are apart of it. or whatever. Alot of people are too tired of hearing religious debates. Or turning on the news and complaining about a pointless holy war or whatever. blah blah blah.

To be honest; Yes I believe God is real. I used to kind of be a person who was like I dunno; I believe something is there. But I have no definitive proof. Now that i've witnessed supernatural shit. And learned more about a spiritual belief in general. (aka Buddhism type of belief) I believe in there focus to turn inward for help, And less outward. There practices intrigue me very much. The soul is a very powerful thing when you learn to connect mind body and soul.

Humans have a tendency to disbelieve anything out of their power to understand.. Which brings it all down to the same thing.. You. Just. Have. To. Have. Faith.
