As far as creating and distributing demos, I'm no expert.

What I do know is that you should get your music heard by as many people as possible, even if that means selling your music on the street.

Book venues, play at open mic shows, give out your CDs EVERYWHERE to EVERYONE. Contact every independent record label you can find. Eventually you will get heard if you really try hard enough.

And make sure you're confident that your work is really really good before you start handing it around, you don't want to regret giving somebody something a year after you give it to them because you made something better later.

i've been listening to this band for the last year and i've just come to realize how amazing they are. casey crescenzo is a musical genius.

odds are youve never heard of the dear hunter but i'd highly recommend them. download or buy act I and II if you're into crazy progressive experimental shit that blows your mind on the first listen.

gay post ahead:

i blazed through radiant dawn on hard with almost no units dying until the final 5-part stage. AND i had fun doing it, and i enjoyed the story, which was well written and conveyed.

then shadow dragon comes along and takes a huge leap back, no shoving, no rescuing, only 5 item slots, pretty much everything back to basics. the story is primitive NES garbage that doesn't keep me entertained. and the strangest thing is, the only unit i have left at the end is marth.

seriously, every single other character i recruited died. and i don't suck at fire emblem, i'm actually really good. like i said i've beaten radiant dawn on hard (which is the equivalent of the japanese extreme mode)

i dont think the game is hard or anything, i just think i was so unmotivated by the lack of features and decent story and character development that i fucked around until i was actually at endgame and i only had 9 units left, half of whom i hadn't even used a master crest on. then every one of them died and i got a lucky few shots in on the final boss dragon faggot.

ok im done ranting!
