Response to: Need writer for quest on a big game Posted July 21st, 2014 in Collaboration

Just to precise, no need to do hundreds of quests. I already have someone doing some, so anyone who is willing to do a few dozens is welcome.

Hey guys,

I'm currently developing a big async multiplayer game for web and mobile. It's a fighting game where you train and customize your character to become the strongest and challenge the others. I attached a screenshot of the game.

One way to train your character will be to do text based quests. That's why I need a lot of quests, hundreds probably. I need a great writer who is motivated and would be willing to jump on the project. You also need to be able to properly understand the game and write quests that match the theme and the restrictions of the gameplay.

As for payment, I'm on a limited budget, so I can't offer much money. I could pay $2 per quest, and of course, give you credits in the game.

If you are interested, please contact me at contact@highupstudio.com. Please include your experience in writing or game design.

Here is an example of what a quest is like (each quest allow the player to make 2 choices) :
Quest 1 Example - Find the Lost Amulet
As you search for the lost amulet in a dark cavern, you notice something glittering in the distance.
1. Go and investigate.
2. Search elsewhere.

1. As you approach the shiny object, you realise it was actually a dagger in the hand of a thief.
a. Fight the assassin. (requires ??? Strength)
b. Run away. (requires ??? Agility)
2. After exploring another part of the caverns, you notice two runes carved into the wall.
a. Touch the blue rune. (requires ??? HP)
b. Touch the red rune. (requires ??? Agility)

S1a. The thief is no match for you in combat. You search him after the fight and find the lost amulet hidden in his pocket.
F1a. The thief defeats you using underhanded tactics. You are too wounded to continue searching for the lost amulet.

S1b. The thief can’t match your speed, and you quickly lose him. As you catch your breath you notice the lost amulet in a small alcove.
F1b. The thief catches you and leaves you gravely wounded. You drag yourself back to town without the lost amulet.

S2a. The rune glows and a false cave wall opens, revealing a small shrine containing the amulet.
F2a. You feel your life force being drained away and collapse. You awaken later and return to town exhausted and empty handed.

S2b. Flames shoot out of the rune, but you quickly dodge them. The lost amulet materialises once the flames disappear.
F2b. Flames shoot out of the rune, severely burning you. You rush back to town to tend to your burns.

[paid] Vector Artist For Td Game Posted March 24th, 2013 in Collaboration

Hey guys,

I'm looking for a talented vector artist to work with me on a new TD game.

The payment and amounts will be discussed in private. But I offer a flat fee, and you'll also get credits in the game, which will surely get millions of plays (like my past games).

If you are interested and think you got what is needed, please send me an email at contact@highupstudio.com. Don't forget to include a link to your portfolio.

PS. I never read my messages on DeviantArt, so email me. :P

Cheers

Thanks for the replies so far. There is still one day left before I judge the best voices.

PS. I got many nice voice for the femla character (you can still keep sending). But for the male, I'm not convinced about what I received yet. I'd like something youthfull, a kid voice.

Response to: [paid] Audition For Kid Iphone App Posted January 17th, 2013 in Collaboration

Sorry for the triple post, I hate how NG doesn't let you edit. :(

I wanted to precise that a kid voice might suit the character better.

I forgot to mention that the deadline for auditions is january 19th.

Ah and you don't need do be able to do both voices (male and female), you can audition for one only.

[paid] Audition For Kid Iphone App Posted January 17th, 2013 in Collaboration

Hey guys,

I'm looking for 2 voice actors, for a kid iPhone application. Here is a link to the application page : http://ibitz.com/kidsapp/

As you can see at the top of the page, there is a male and a female character. I will need voice for both of them. The app is an app for young kid, that encourage them to do activity while letting them play games.

The 2 voices will need to be dynamic and kid friendly, as well as fitting with the character.

I will have around 50 short phrases to be recorded for the job. By short phrases, I mean things like : "Welcome to my world" or "We passed our daily goal! Congratulation!".

I will pay $100 for each of the voice actor. Of course, I need good recording quality and work that could be done quickly.

If you think you are the right person, contact me at contact@highupstudio.com with a demo using these phrases :
Welcome to my world
We passed our daily goal! Congratulation!
I'm tired, we should go to sleep.

Need artist for zombie game Posted August 21st, 2012 in Collaboration

Hey guys,

We are working on a new game, and we are currently looking for an artist. The game is a top-down shooter. It's a survival game where you need to protect yourself agaisn't zombies by collecting new ressources and building defences. You will have a shop to buy different weapons and constructions.

Here is a demo. It's only a prototype, so it surely look ugly and it's missing tons of things. Use your mouse to shoot, "q" to place obstacles and "e" for the shop. You can switch weapons with numbers (1,2,3,4,5,6) and construction with the mouse wheel. But again, it's an early prototype with place holder graphics.

We offer a percentage of the profits that can be discussed after.

If you are interested, please send us a message at jsag@highupstudio.com with a link to your portfolio.

Thanks

Need Animator For Video [paid] Posted August 7th, 2012 in Collaboration

Hey guys,

I'm looking for a talented animator to design a video presentation for my website.

Here is two example of video presentations that I like :

Basically, you will need to design something like that (just the graphical part). The genre and the lenght will be approximately the same. We can discuss further about what exactly will need to be done later on. But it should give you a good idea of the job.

PS. Just to add precision, I already have the planning, the script, the voice acting and the audio ready. I only need an animator.

If you are interested, please contact me at ssanchex@hotmail.com . Don't forget to give me a link to your portfolio. Also, please tell me how much you would ask for something like that.

Thanks to everyone who send me an audition. It's always hard to choose only one winner.

Hey guys,

I'm looking for an english voice actor for my video that will be used to present my new website.

If you want to have a good idea of what I'll be making and what kind of voice I'm looking for, please look at these 2 videos, they are very similar :
http://vimeo.com/39614907#
http://vimeo.com/14700285#

If you are interested, please contact me at ssanchex@hotmail.com . Please include the recording of the following phrase to be used as an audition :
"But thats not all. Buying a project is even easier! If you're looking for a quick project to complete, a collection of assets, or even just some inspiration, browse through our vast collection of unfinished projects, and in a few clicks you could find and purchase the ideal project for you."

I'll be paying $25 to record the whole thing (the lenght is around 1:30min, like other videos)

PS. There is no deadline, but the faster you send it, the better it is. I'll be closing the audtion when I'll find the appropiate voice.

Thanks

Hey guys,

I'm making this post because I'm currently building a website, a marketplace to be more precise, and I'd need help from someone with good english skills.

English isn't my first language. That's why i'd need the person to be able to check the content and proofhead them / make them better. The content is far from being completly done. It's in progress, but could be good to have everything checked as it's being done. It will take 1-2 week to finish all the content, since we are coding the site at the same time.

I'm looking for someone who would be easy to contact.

I could pay around $50 for helping me with the whole website. I know it's not much, but I can't pay much right now. If the site becomes more successfull, you'll surely get big bonuses.

You can contact me at ssanchex@hotmail.com

Thanks

Need Writer To Proofhead Text -paid Posted December 26th, 2011 in Collaboration

Hey Guys,

I didn't knew were to find someone to help me, so I decided to ask here.

English isn't my first language, therefor, I'd need help to correct and improve a short 250 words text. The text is an email (promotional email), so I'd want it to be perfect, without mistake, and to be interesting to read.

The job is quick, but I could pay $10 for someone who could do this efficiently.

Please contact me if you are interested.

Thanks

Response to: Need game designer [Paid] Posted October 22nd, 2011 in Collaboration

I wanted to add that the job shouldn't be too long. I only have 2 levels to design. And I already have the basic concept of both level designed, I need help completing them. The game is also simpler than deathclick. But I still want someone dedicated to the project. ;)

Need game designer [Paid] Posted October 22nd, 2011 in Collaboration

Hey,

I'm looking for a talented game designer to help me build a game. The game I am building is in the same genre of http://www.bored.com/game/play/151396/Cl ickDEATH.html

Well, it will be very different, but it's a game with stickmens, were you need to kill everyone. The difference, is that instead of having many clicks, you'll need to kill everyone with a single click. What I mean is that, you'll need to click the good thing, for a serie of events to happen. Of course, the game would be easy, but that's why it needs to be funny.

I'm looking for someone dynamic, with who I can have a good communication (msn, skype, ...). You will need to help me design the game and help me making it funny.

Don't think it's an easy 10 minute job. I want someone who will be implicated, follow the progress of the game with me, try to make it better by giving suggestions, ect..

I will pay $30 for the job. If I'm happy with your work, I'll give you a $20 bonus.

You won't get credited in the game though, since it's a game I'm doing for a company.

If you are interested, please contact me at sanchex@highupstudio.com. Tell me why you would be good to work on this.

Need writer to help with my game Posted September 18th, 2011 in Collaboration

Hey,

I would need a writer to help me improve my text intro for my new game. It shouldn't be too long. My first language is french, so it's hard for me to make a good text intro.

I already have the intro written, but I'd need the writer to work with me, try to understand the character and the game, so you can make the intro better.

I would give you credits in game. I can also give $5-10

Response to: Need voice actor for my game! Posted September 18th, 2011 in Collaboration

I received many great auditions, but none were what I need. I think it's because I didn't gave enough precision. Some auditions were too robotic, some too enthousiast.

The voice acting will be used while the intro text play. I would need the voice to be calm, maybe a bit sad, but not too much. Like someone feeling alone. The voice could feel like the robot is talking to himself. Also, it doesn't have to be too robotic. I'd prefer something sounding more like a human, while still being a bit robotic.

Here are some more lines, it might help you get a good idea :

Log 2344
Something happened... Was it an accident? I don't know. I remember terrified people, the chaos, and this evil computer voice...

Log 1086
Memories... I remember... These bad voices... Scientists, prisoners... And this artificial intelligence...

Remember the voice acting will be used as a voice over on a text.

Need voice actor for my game! Posted September 18th, 2011 in Collaboration

Hey,

I'm looking for a voice actor for my new game. I can't offer any payment, but you will get credits in game. My last game got 1 million plays, and I hope this one to be more popular.

The voice actor will need to do a few recordings for this character : http://www.corupted.com/Game/HighUp_Char acter.swf

I need a robot voice. But a robot voice with some emotion in it, to be a bit human. You can edit your voice or anything like that to give a good effect.

When contacting me, please send me a demo recording of the following phrase :

Log 1122
I was alone in my cell. Months? Years? I don't remember.

Response to: [paid] Need Artist - Stickman Game Posted August 16th, 2011 in Collaboration

Thanks for all the emails I got. Offer is now closed, I found an artist.

I'll be replying to every email soon.

Hey,

I need an artist for a stickman game. I can't give much detail about the game, but the game will be similar to these 2 games :

http://www.bored.com/game/play/150940/Ca usality_3.html
http://www.bored.com/game/play/151396/Cl ickDEATH.html

I can accept different art style, but I'd prefer something similar to these 2 games also.

The artist will need to draw the worlds, the objects, the characters, and animate everything. There will be 3 levels in the game. You will also need to do the menus, but that's not too complicated.

If you are interested, please contact me at sanchex@highupstudio.com. When contacting me, please include a link to your portfolio, and please tell me an estimate of how much would you want to get paid for the job.

Thanks ;)

Response to: Need character graphic for my game Posted August 15th, 2011 in Collaboration

e-Kro, this sample look nice, but could you do a character that match my descriptions and the game arts (see the screenshot).

Response to: Need character graphic for my game Posted August 15th, 2011 in Collaboration

Thanks for the offer LazyAss.

I just taught that it could be usefull to include a screenshot of the game. So here is a screenshot of a level : http://prntscr.com/2nizd

Do you think you could do a character that fit with these arts?

Response to: Need character graphic for my game Posted August 15th, 2011 in Collaboration

I can pay $20 for the character.

Thanks

Hey,

I have a flash game that is almost complete. All the arts are done, but I'm only missing a character. The game is a 2d platformer puzzle. The story of the game is inspired from portal, while the gameplay is completly original.

The character will be a small an animated guy. The guy will wear old clothes, as if he passed years in a cell. He will need to have a modern/futuristic look. He will need to be able to walk/jump.

I don't want to show the game here on the forum, because it's now almost complete. But if you are interested, pm me with some example of your arts. If youa re itnerested, I can show you the game in private messages.

I can't really pay for this, but I think it's a quite simple thing. And you will get credits in game.

PS. I don't want pixel arts.

Thanks a lot
