Israel comprises less than 5% of the middle east and has a population of 7 or 8 million people, 6 million of them Jews, against millions upon millions of Arab Muslims in the other nations. Zionism, and by extention, the founding of israel, has resulted in the creation of a Jewish state that respects human rights and serves as an example to the entire middle east. It has stayed vigilant against terror and its enemies when surrounded on all sides and the only escape being the mediterranian(sp?).

Without a wink or a chuckle, Odenwald claims that these male fruit flies are gay -- and that he and Zhang made them that way. The scientists say they transplanted a single gene into the flies that caused them to display homosexual behavior. Remember though, lactose intolerance is a genetic defect. Genetic differences like blond hair, brown hair, whatever, are the same as homosexuality, just the hair colors are more common.

I have a friend who's a Mormon. Actually, they prefer to be called Latter Day Saints rather than Mormons. They find the term Mormon (which is the name of their additional religious text, I believe) to be offensive.
