I have never even heard about anybody who refers to themselves as Hibiscus Kazeneko. (Kazeneko means "Wind cat" in Japanese.) The name comes from a character I created who is, by definition, a flying cat who lives on an island in the ocean somewhere.
Just so you know, ".be" means the site is hosted on a server in Belgium, so that's most likely where the company who paid for the commercial is from.
And I think I saw that video on StupidVideos.com a couple of years ago.
If I were you, when I saw the girl throwing rocks at my window, I would have called the cops righht then and there, 'cuz throwing rocks at people's windows is vandalism.
And it's your own fault for landing in jail, so I'm not gonna help you. Criminal douchebag.
Uh, how to I do that "Size Report" thing? (I have Flash MX 2004, if that makes any difference.)
And my Flash mostly relies on motion-tweened animated GIFs. I already knocked down the compression quality of all the bitmaps in an effort to save space, but I don't think it made a significant difference.
And I tried an experiment and used multiple bitmaps per graphic in some instances. Could that be part of the problem?
Uh, I also want the NG Xmas preloader for my upcoming Christmas Flash. Where can I get it?
Uh, I'm making an animutation, so I need the whole song. But the "Size Report" suggestion sounds extremely useful. I'll give it a shot and get back to you later.
Um, "Sakura Sake" by Arashi?
"Kokoro no Kagami" by SMAP?
"Music Hour" by Porno Graffiti?
"Strawberry Power" from Tokyo Mew Mew ?
Try Galbadia Hotel . If they don't have what you're looking for, I don't know who will.
Unfortunately no, but I can email you a WAV file of the lines you need.
You're right that it sucks when nobody bothers to vote for your Flash and it gets blammed just for that. That's one of the things that makes this place a school of hard knocks.
As for a good hosting site, try Albino Blacksheep . If they won't take it, I don't know who will.
Yeah, what DO you mean? I have several animated GIFs that look like pixel mosaics that are falling apart. Is this repairable in Flash, or is it a problem that stems back to the GIFs' creator?
Here's where the problem GIFs came from. Try downloading one and importing it into Flash. You'll see what I mean.
Sheesh, it's as if I'm throwing this one out everywhere I go... Just add the sound file to one layer and it automatically sets the sync to "Stream".
Uh, OK, I tried setting the audio export settings to "MP3", but it didn't even make a dent. Could it be that I used multiple bitmaps per symbol? Or perhaps something else?
Here's an old pic of Princess Sally I made a while back in MSPaint. I had to resize it and convert it to GIF format to post it here, so its quality is nothing like that of the original.
Here's the character I use to represent myself in my artwork. Her name is the same as my alias.
Okay, I'm making a Flash movie that's supposed to be relatively long and complex; and so far it's over 8 megs (even though I knocked down the quality of all the images to "Photo" and set the audio export to 12.5%), and it's not even half done. Does anybody have any tips?
Sheesh, your brother shouldn't insert 4chan memes into such serious matters as PE excuses. I don't care how big a nerd he is.
I have several classmates that use 4chan meme phrases such as "Fail" and "Sage" on me on a regular basis. It REALLY pisses me off. They're just as bad as your dickweed brother.
Anybody remember "Mamoritaikara!"? Several people on another site enjoyed it, but it was blammed here. I suspect it has something to do with the type of people DMK was talking about in "KTKore's Romantic Love Story" (people who get enjoyment out of giving bad reviews and blamming other people's hard work). I HATE those bastards so much I'd just like to fish 'em out of their basements and strangle them.
I've had that problem with Flash telling me that certain mp3s can't be read. I just convert them to WAV format via Audacity, and Flash reads those just fine. (though the WAVs are about 8 times larger than their original source mp3s)
To be honest, I don't know very much at all about ActionScript, but one fool-proof way to make sure that the sound starts at the right time is to place the sound file in one of the layers. This automatically sets the sync to "Stream", so you don't have to worry about that. This method is what I have used in all my Flash so far (it also helps with visual timing).
Sounds like fun. I'd love to loan out my voice for others' entertainment. Are there any female roles available?
Uh, is there a theme to this Flash? Or are you just making things up as you go? I don't know if I want to be in it or not. I'd give you an actual picture of myself, but I can't get it on this computer without a LOT of oversight; in short, I'll see what I can do. I've got an animutation in the works that I hope to have out by Christmas, so that eats up a significant portion of my spare time.
Just as a way of experimenting with the attachment mechanism, I guess I'll post a picture or two from my upcoming project.
Uh, what exactly do you want your Flash to be? A music video? A generic cartoon? I can't decide whether I can help you or not until I know what it is you want.
I watched "Chocolate Niblet Beans" a couple of years ago and was wondering how Toxic created the transformation in the beginning. Now that I have Flash and have a BIG project in the works, I would really like to know so that I can do a similar thing. I already PMed Toxic over this, but he hasn't responded. Does anybody else have any tips?
