Is/was your mom Tibetan or something? I don't know anyone who would even think those things were good to eat, not even the most natural-minded/crunchy people I know.

This. Seriously, I'm genuinely curious.

Me too.
I'm quite fat myself, but even I can't effectively store anything in my folds because it all shifts around when I move.

Response to: Woman Claims the Sun Posted November 29th, 2010 in General

This is just plain abominable. First beverage companies privatize the world's water and now this.
Someone has to intervene in this; capitalism was NOT intended as a means to exploit people this way. We need sunlight to survive, and if this hag gets her wish, we'd have to pay her and the Spanish government every last cent of our earnings to grow crops, power our homes and basically LIVE. There are already people suffering from extreme poverty and disease because they have to pay money they don't have for water (which is another absolute necessity); we don't need to slap any more predatory fees on them.

Response to: Body parts you don't clean. Posted November 29th, 2010 in General

I'm typically fastidious about keeping most of me clean, but I never wash near my vagina. Soap stings there. I just rinse.

Note to guys: you should do this too. Soap can harm your penis, whether you're cut or not, and you could easily get a yeast infection. Be careful; if it stings or burns, stop and just rinse.

They can trace the uploaders and bar them for life from accessing the Internet or even using a computer.
I heard that happened to a couple of kids who were caught hacking into military and government computers back in the 90s.

Now about option 2. Option 2 is a version of punishment under Iranian law. Yes, surely it sounds painful and inhumane, but consider this: the punishment would take less than a half hour, only the government and perhaps the wife would know about the crime. The man now has the option of moving on with his life instead of spending a year in jail. Also government no longer has to tax as much, as the man is not taking up resources by spending time in jail.

Actually, more than just the man, the government and his wife would know.
Judicial lashes are extremely painful and most importantly, they draw blood and leave permanent scars as a reminder of the crime. If anyone like a doctor saw those scars, they'd know what crime the man committed.

Of course, option 2 would never happen in the United States, as it's in the Constitution.

Technically speaking, it could happen.
The Eighth Amendment guards against "cruel and unusual" punishments, and flagellation is cruel but not unusual, so in theory it could be allowed.

However, it seems to me to run a more efficient government and judicial system perhaps this way is better.

Sad, but true. I remember Proteas ragging on a while back about how Singapore has one of the lowest crime rates in the world because they use judicial caning. He may be right.
