yeah, Walt disney was horrible at legal stuff and pretty overprotective.

Walt Disney died in 1966. The Lion King was released in 1994. He couldn't have been directly involved with the litigation; he just set a bad precedent.

what? Why would it be banned?

For similarities to Inception.
Although the latter movie is a blatant ripoff, historical precedent will tell us that if anyone tries to screen or release Paprika outside of Japan now, Warner Bros. will sue to block it on copyright grounds.
I know this because a similar case happened in 1998. We all know that Disney stole the concept for The Lion King from Osamu Tezuka's Jungle Emperor, better known in North America as Kimba the White Lion. (Proof for non-believers.) In 1998, when the Toronto FantAsia Film Festival tried to screen the 1997 Jungle Emperor film, Disney sued and blocked it claiming the film infringed on their copyright.

You can't send or receive any non-legitimate Pokémon via the GTS.
I learned this by trial and error: I have a few Darkrai (all obtained via Action Replay) stored up and tried to trade one away the other day when it gave me an error message saying the Pokémon could not be offered for trade.

Woah... That's a serious accusation that you're making and frankly, it isn't true. The Christian faith has complete tolerance for homosexuality.

Not where I'm from, it doesn't.
The vast majority of Christian churches in my area are militantly anti-gay, some even going so far to declare homosexuality to be demon possession and some pastors will even perform exorcisms.
It's somewhat to be expected, since the South and Southwestern United States are some of the most socially and politically conservative in the nation (as you probably know because of all the shit that's been flung around about Arizona) and homosexuality is simply not tolerated as well as it is in other parts of the country and the developed world. In high school I even heard a classmate (whose credibility was questionable at best) state he believed that we should execute gays like we did in "the old days."

While I find Westboro Baptist to be a bunch of bigoted assholes, they do have the right to protest what they want, where they want. As long as they aren't trespassing on private property (the cemetery/church), they should have the ability to express how they feel about the issue.

I mean, as far as I know, in the eyes of the law, a funeral is no different a ceremony than the opening of a public park.

My thoughts exactly.
About 65% of Christian churches these days are preaching that homosexuality is to blame for the decline in our morals as a nation, and if we ban Westboro Baptist Church from protesting, other churches will be up in arms. It's a lose-lose situation.

The Sonic franchise hasn't even been around for 20 years yet.
The tradition started in 1993 with Christopher Ian Welch (AoSTH) and Bradley Michael Pierce (SatAM) and continued unchallenged and unbroken until 4Kids' hostile takeover in 2005.
And yes, 8-year-old boys are allowed to voice-act. Disney has used actors even younger.

I was under general anesthesia (via an IV) for it, so the actual operation didn't hurt.
But the real pain began a few hours later when the anesthesia wore off; I could barely eat or swallow for several days. I had to take a cocktail of prednisone to relieve swelling and hydrocodone to numb the intense pain.

That and it's a totally useless and unethical procedure.
All human beings have the right to a whole body, which includes their teeth, and removing them prophylactically with no present evidence of discomfort or harm is abuse. I should know; my mother famously forced me to undergo the surgery in July 2007. I hate her until the day she dies for making me go through with it.

I have other links if anyone wants further info.

Point partially taken. However, burning sacred texts is in a totally different ballpark from burning secular books or records. The backlash could be catastrophic.

Vote with your attention. If nobody cared, it would just be a few sad guys burning books alone in their basement.

You seriously don't even know what we're up against.
The Dove World Outreach Center is a fairly large and powerful church, at least in their area. If their plans go through, they'll draw national and international media attention and possibly prompt a violent response from Al-Qaeda. That's what I'm afraid of.
