A little while ago, I uploaded my madness mod. The game works within MF MX, but when seperated from the same folder as mrsound.swf, it doesnt work. Is there a way i can add mrsound TO the my game.swf? How do I make this work?

I went to Catholic school, and during a "religion" class, a student asked my teacher, " What if your a Catholic, and in the end, you were wrong. wouldnt that suck?" My teacher answered with this, "Think of it this way, you should be a Catholic so you can try to get into heaven just in case. If you were an athiest, wouldnt it suck to go to hell if YOU were wrong."

I used to think this was a good answer.

Lately, I've been thinking back on it, and honestly, this is a poor argument to become a Catholic.

If you live your life right, according to the basic human instinct of morality...would YOUR God judge you for doing what you think is right? And if he DID judge you, would you really want to belong to a judging, intolerant God?

I recently went to this seminar done by an Israeli journalist.

His talk was both surprising, and completely reasonable.

Most Israeli/Palestinian news is propaganda. FACT

His argument was that the news (especially in Israel) portrayed palestinians as insurgents/fanatics/radicals. The truth of this is that only a minimal percentage (he estimated 5-10%) of all palestinians actually believe in the extremest views of taking back Israel. Israelis and Palestinians are in fact extremely similar.

He went on to say that it was shocking for him to believe that such close neighbors did little to actually physically communicate with each other. Their opinions are generated entirely by the media, and never firsthand. He lived to the age of 20 before he even TALKED to a Palestinian. The conversation resulted in politics, and SOCCER. Who knew?

My point is. Before you judge a group of people who you are almost certain is at fault, get the other perspective firsthand. People need to figure things out for themselves, and stop relying on sources that make money by making you afraid, angry, or threatened to the point of absolute judgement and hatred.

I am against prohibition for this reason.

1. It doesnt usually work
2. It gives drug-dealers a job (with higher pay too!)
3. It costs the government money, and honestly, they have bigger fish to fry.

Decriminalizing marijuana would:

1. Reduce unneccessary law enforcement costs
2. Reduce prison costs by releasing marijuana-related criminals (who might be decent people, and probably are.

However,

Hard drugs are a MAJOR health problem.
Think of all the accidents that alchohol causes in automobile crashes. Imagine what a person would do if they got into a vehicle on Meth, Cocaine, Pyschedelics, and other inhibitory drugs.
People who take low-risk drugs would use the legalization of harder drugs as an excuse to experiment. And that could be bad.
Health care costs would go throught the freakin roof.

It is easy to see the point of legalizing all drugs. It should be the constitutional right for someone to do with their life as they wish. But our constitution says that a man should have the freedom to do as he pleases unless that choice comprimises someone elses freedom or constitutional entitlement.
Should non-drug users be exposed to a wide world of dangerous drugs? I would argue no.

Freedom to, and freedom from.
