Windows 2000 Pro is the best operating system to make music on. i have never had any program fail due to any errors.

i would really listen to these guys, we have been around the block a few time and have made a lot of songs. just be sure to not pirate anything. pirating is not tolerated what so ever and will usually result in a ban leading and upto account deletion.

most sound cards and programs records mono inputs as stereo automaticly. besides, consider getting a Creative Audigy SE sound card anyways, Realteks quality isnt all that great. how do i know, my pc has the card built in.

your not going to like this but you have no choice to record in mono. like one person said, in mono, you will hear the sound in both speakers. your microphone/line input is ONLY monaural. there is no way you can record stereo. its just something you are going to have to deal with unfortunately

Hello audiotryoutdude, since you are new to audio, you will need to read the Rules and the Sticky if you havent done so already. If you want to announce your new music, you must do so Here. If you need programs, look at this, and this. If you need help with any program, there are tons of threads of common programs used. The quickest way to get directed is to ask about a certain program and a person will most likely lead you to the right thread. Have fun :)

LOL = Livers, Onions, Leeks

its amazing to take everyday internet lingo and make it something other than what it really means

yes im back, just didnt feel like posting when i got back to my house, i was up at my g/f's for a few days. gone for a week actually. it was nice to get away from city life.

got a plasma psp skin for my psp and its junk!! i put it on and noticed that there was a section that removed from the paper. i tried placing it back down but it wouldnt work. i start playing Worms Open Warfare 2 and a few minutes later, the plastic separated even more from the paper skin. i was outraged. so i just rip the damn thing off and keep the back panels on. lesson learned. only use good skins or dont use them at all.

this is not the place to be posting what kind of music you would want created for you. now if your searching for a song, thats a different story. but if a person has to create you a song, you dont deserve any credit for the song being made. if your searching for a song, go here and go through the submissions and find what you like.
Have a good day :)

just wait till you get your own pc, then start buying a lot of routers and shit and corrupt your dads computer, heheheheheee. its nice to have your own computer. oh, corrupting a computer is easy, just go into the windows system directory and delete everything in there, computer will ask for a boot disk everytime if not say that something is corrupt and you need to restart. did that before and it WORKS!!!

id get a set of junk cables both guitar and RCA, hook up your guitar amp to the speaker/line out of any audio device (perferably a cd player with rca outputs), turn on your amp and OD, set your levels to MIN, and just slowly raise everything, if the music sounds good with the OD at low levels, then your OD is ok, but if you have very bad distortion, then your OD circuitry could be fried

i did that with my old Crate GX-15 and everything came out smoothly.

Example:

Gain:1...11
Volume:1...11
Bass:1...11
Contour:1...11
Treble:1...11

im sure your AMPLIFIER should have a OVERDRIVE feature on it. if your amp has a overdrive feature on it, switch it on and use the controls on that. if it doesnt, go and get a foot pedal that has the screeching effects built into it. most amplifiers have Gain, Bass, Mid, Trebel, (overdrive Gain, Level)
if you want a really good amp, go after crate, but if you want power, go after marshall
