bmi, damn man, i knew you were cheap but not THAT cheap, lol yeah, that mic does have some excellent quality. the actual mic its self is about 25 dollars but since the company buys in bulk, they can sell it for cheap. if you want a damn good mic that you want to really mess around with, go to radio shack, get a PCB, several high gain mics, tear apart a computer speaker set that has bass and treble controls along with volume control and use that. you will take advantage of ultra high quality and be in control of how much bass or treble you project. since it wll be amplified and if your computer supports +20 dB boost, make sure that is off and you will be set. another source is a boombox speaker hooked up as a mic, since instead of using a resistor for a mic, you would be using an actual voice coil that the recording program will pick up any vibrations in your voice and perfectly project them in your project.
