Greetings. I've had this idea for a while to use differently colored, easy-to-animate characters and make them brawl against eachother on a stage. I've already created the character select in order to peak interest, I won't reveal too much about the game other than it's going to incorperate fast-paced brawls coupled with interesting powers and possibly storylines.

As far as sponsorship goes I split it 50/50, no more; no less.
I've got finals coming up but after that I can work about an hour or two if not more a day on this.

Coder:

-You must have finished a few games
-Aren't juggling too many projects at once
-Hopefully have been sponsored before
-Can take and give directions
-Isn't a big squishy douchebag who'll crap out on me on this project.

anyway, hoeloe or w/e your name is, I wasn't dissing coders so chill the fuck out, and I don't have a huge ego, you assumed I did. I know I'm good at what I do, there's no problem with confidence. I'm always polite and friendly over messenger systems so it's not an issue, think before you speak with minimal knowledge of the situation.

Anyway I don't want a discussion as to what's harder to do between graphics and coding, I want someone to work with who isn't a quitter. And who will tell me what I need to do in order to help the engine along. I just wanna make some cash honestly. This thread got derailed pretty fast.

Everytime I get a coder from the NGbbs he always quits on me. I know my graphics are good, and I know my skills are sponsorship worthy, so why the fuck can't they see a project through? Isn't sponsorship money a good motivator? Seriously, FFS. I even split it 50/50.

So far the only two reliable coders I've come into contact with were Woadraiders and KyleDaFox.

I just want someone to code my graphics for me so we can both make some money...Is that so much to ask?

Flash compresses .WAV files better than it does MP3.

not a guarentee'd fix, but worth a shot imo.

Maybe close down some other programs while exporting to free up RAM.

Orrr.....Take and .MP3 Sounds files and convert them to .WAV Via Audacity.

Just about all I can think of. haha.

I've got some graphics I've made for unfinished games and I thought maybe some coder would be inspired to help me finish them off.

The premise of this game was to fire a baby as far as possible, the code would be to continue a looping bg and judge the distance the baby has gone in meters. No blood and gore. There would be random objects along the path to help/hinder the baby in his quest for distance, such as trampolines, cinderblocks, and other stuff.

Deviant Demolition

This one has the most potential IMO. A game where you drive around in an arena and crash cars. The four cars have different stats and the pick-ups help things stay interesting. I was thinking that the player would go through a 10 level mayhem with up to 6 cars onscreen. Aswell as a 2player mode.

I've experienced slews of bad and lazy coders, the only two I was ever successful with were woad raiders and kyledafox. So I'd usually wait. I can even work on two games at once anyway, I'm a guy with more freetime than I can use. So yeah, I'll just open up a second slot and reserve Gankro's longer.

I'm out of money and need to use my graphic-related talents to make a game. One problem, actionscript just isn't within my ability range, I've tried learning it over and over, bought E-books and the like, but I always end up forgetting it or making tons of syntax errors.
