Why is the VG forums so dead? Posted June 11th, 2009 in General

In my opinion, the Vg forums should be among the active forums of the BBS but you see topics that were started over a 2 hours ago with 2 replies and with like 10-30 people on at a time theres almost no life there.

Response to: The Dungeons Of Ocarina Of Time Posted June 11th, 2009 in Video Games

At 6/11/09 05:47 PM, burrito15 wrote: What makes the dungeons of Ocarina of Time so memorable?

Inside The Deku Tree: Of course this is memorable, it was the first dungeon of the game, who could forget jumping off from a high floor through the spiderweb?

I remember doing jumps from the highest floor and spending bout 30 mins trying to figure out how to jump down it.

Dodongo's Cavern: Who could forget causing the chain reaction of bomb flowers? What really makes it memorable is how massive King Dodongo looked when fighting him! :o

Yea the bomb flowers were funny but annoying

Inside Jabu-Jabu's Belly: What an awkward dungeon. Theres not much to say about this dungeon, the whole being inside a fish thing was all memorable.

Not really, I personally didnt like it because of having to use the bomberang if I remember correctly which wasnt one of my fav items.

Forest Temple: No one can forget the twisted hallway and the wolves howling at the start of the dungeon. Also Phantom Ganon was a pretty epic battle.

Yeah I loved the forest temple hunting the phantoms, and the epic battle against phantom ganon and th paintings

Fire Temple:: This dungeon just shouts "fire-breathing dragon", Volvagia! And of course the falling doors. ;)

I cannot remember this dungeon at all :S

Ice Cavern: Being the only ice dungeon can make this memorable, and the White Wolfos.

Lol, I can barely remember this one

Water Temple: Who could forget this one! One of the most difficult dungeons in Zelda history (maybe). This may be the least memorable dungeon of all. The mini-boss over-shadows the main boss itself, you know who Im talking about. Dark Link!

Why do people think this one was hard! I personally loved the water temple, having to solve the puzzles which correspond with each water level.

Bottom Of The Well: Tricky! Falling through invisible floors and walking through invisible walls, which for the first time made quite a challenge. Who could forget the creature with the hands, pretty scary back in the day.

Ahh them dam guiliatine things were soo annoying

Shadow Temple: Hmm... probably the least memorable of any of the dungeons, the most to remember are the death traps and what I like to call "The Ghost Ship". And maybe Bongo Bongo.

Bongo Bongo was one of the weirdest bosses in the whole LoZ series in my opinion but it did make good use of the bow + arrow

Spirit Temple: This Egyptian theme dungeon you had to do as a child and an adult! :o, and of course the witches. And the Iron Knuckle. And who could forget activating those creepy looking suns with the Mirror Sheild?

Ugh! I hate this dungeon personally my worst, maybe it was that person telling you to do stuff as a child, oh well she got what she derserved by them witchs ;)

Ganon's Castle: The final showdown with Ganondorf/Ganon takes place here!

Although I do love this ending, I dont like the running up and down the tower but when Ganon knocks the master sword outta ur hands, I thought "lol, who cares?", pulled out my Biggoron sword and kicked his ass

So what makes OoT's dungeons most memorable to you?

I fancy setting up my N64 up and relive some amazing memories, might actually do that tomoro :)

Cannot upload Pictures... Posted June 10th, 2009 in General

For some reason which I dont know, I cannot upload a picture to any site, like Myspace, Facebook even Newgrounds. I've tried many times to correct to problem through my internet options, my router.

Has anyone got any tips for what I should try to fix this problem, I've tried the search engines and I couldnt see anything that might be it...

Indeed it hasn't, so that must mean we all ignore the future. God forbid we look forbid to something in a non-sequential manner

I know what I send sounded stupid, so what I meant to say was im more intrested in the upcoming FFXIII rather than looking towards FFXIV.

4) if its anything like FFXI then im not getting it.
If you cared to read the above it's striving not to be

Correct, I didnt read it, but I know when Squaresoft try to strive a game away from a previous games attributes, it either ends up similar or so different it turns out worse (hense FFXII) but if it will be turn based then it may end up like FF8-10 which means better, but if this is online the price will be the main concern to all.

1) you've just copied an entire wall of text which by the looks of it didnt fit in one post

3) im pretty sure FFXIII hasnt even came out yet so FFXIV isnt really bothering me
4) if its anything like FFXI then im not getting it.

He "accidently" shot him with a shotgun. two things point out from that sentence, one why was their a shotgun in reach of an 11 yr old and two how can u accidently shot someone if you've pulled the trigger then u shot them end off.

The point of spam?.. Posted June 7th, 2009 in General

Im refering to spam that is sent into the flash portal, not spam by e-mail.

Why do these "crews" bother to waste there time making and uploading these time wasting pieces of fucking shit (excuse my language).

The only thing I see in spam is a prime source of Blam points and abusive reviews to whistle.

But other than that someone tell me what is the point in this??

Yep, just use this trick which will fuck your Xbox after many uses, invalid your warranty, and cost you around 40-50$ to repair it... OR you could just return it when it RR's and get it bak in a month, also to put your mind at rest, I've had an xbox for a year and a bit, and its only just started red ringin.

I have like more than a thousand songs on my ipod, but I haven't noticed any weight gain with my ipod. Any of you ipod users actually notice your ipod getting heavy?

its Bs, memory doesnt get heaverer with more usage, unless its refering to 8gb, 16gb etc. in which case it could be right.

Ok, first of all read all of this post, before trying the search bar at the top.

When I was on the flash portal saving random stuff, I rememberd a good game and scrolled down to the bottom of the page and tried the search bar, and it didnt work for me, does it work for anyone else?

hint, go check it ;)flash portal
p.s. i know theres a fully functioning search bar at the top, i'd just thought that if it failed for other people, then theres a problem.
