If art were to remain my profession by the time im a wizened old man, it would be kind of sad not to have reached some level of recognition.
you should claim compensation or something!
I mean, after all, you sign a license when you post something to the art portal!
No-one will ever know that you made it, but oh well ...
It might be to late, I told them/him/here/"it" that I thought it was a fraud.
Hopefully, they/he/she/it think(s) they managed to trick me ... I still haven't got any answer ...
Is this like normal?
This is the first time I have gotten anything like this!
I've seen banners spreading that kind of stuff around the internet, but I have never recieved any e-mails saying anything like that ...
How many usually gets this kind of messages?
There ya' go CloudEater! No foul language used :D

True
can you please stop using inappropriate languague, it's hurting my eyes. thank-you
Done!
So what do I do?
Try to smartass him by saying I believe it's a fraud already?
But like, there were no attached files or any virus or anything like that!
And if this is just a prank by some 13-year-old kid trying to be funny, he sure put a lot of work trying ...
So if this is not the real thing ...
WHAT THE FUCK IS IT?!
is that supposed to say: "Verktøy"?
Also, according to the art forum rules:
MS Paint drawings had better be funny and well thought out or else may be removed.
Can someone please help me out please?
Heres the thing:
, I recieved a message from a chinese company or something like that, asking me to act as their payment/collection agent.
I asked something about why'd they want a 15-year-old kid to work for them, or if they'd got the e-mail wrong
and they responded like this (yes, all-caps):
PLEASE THIS JOB IS MEANT FOR THE ADVANCE PEOPLE SO WE BELIEVED YOU CANNOT PERFECT THIS TRANSACTION.OR YOU EITHER INVOLVES YOUR PARENTS.
THANKS.
Whole story may be found here
Now what do I do?!
Sorry for bein off-topic, but I didn't want to ask the trolls down at the general forum ...
Well, obviously Jackson would have to go through several steps to find a crew:
>Go out
>Search for crew members
>Find hobo
>Ask politeley to join crew
>Find a new ect ect ...
Also, thank you for continuing this!
Like the "draw your fav game character" - thread?
Or more like "draw monsters"
Jackson: Got to page 24 in the spell-book
When is the expected frontpage-date?
frontpage-date is equal to release-date ...
Don't make it around pico day, as the frontpage will be filled with awesome pico submittions ...

Not to be a dick, but ...
Did you even try to get it look like Luis?
Haven't you seen what all the others have posted?
Did you even read the opening post? (more than just "design my icon")
You should try getting some references, also, you should try getting the outline over the character. Look at the level weapons to the left ...

Well, I don't know about Angelus-Mortis, but personally, I take one color, paint the whole area I want with that color, open the color-panel, lower saturation, and depending on if I want shadow or highlight, I lower/rise the brightness of the color.

A lot of people are extremely judgmental when it comes to manga or just outright hate it. They will even discredit a //good// artist just because he/she draws "manga", no matter how realistic the "manga" in question is.
still, I don't think over 50% of the art forum regs downright hate manga. But yeah, You've got a point
it's just that experienced artists usually says that manga is not a good way of learning anotomy/proportions.I disagree again. Manga artists are far better off in terms of traditional learning than most of the "average joe" cartoon artists that NG churns out. Manga is much closer to realism. It isn't nearly as much of a crutch as cartooning, either, in the sense that you can't give a guy 4 fingers with no joints and call it "style". I think a mediocre manga artist can produce better realism on the spot than a mediocre cartoon artist.
Again, you're completly right. comparing to the regular cartoon "styles" commonly showed at the site, manga is more towards the realistic style.
I forgot the rule "think before posting"
perhaps next time I won't get ahead of myself ...
I don't know what you think this is, but it's an art forum (Aka: Not flash forum)
Most of the users use photoshop.
Also, most people don't hate manga style, it's just that experienced artists usually says that manga is not a good way of learning anotomy/proportions. (Plus a ridiculus high percent of all unprofecional manga drawings are bad, just bad)
Please feel free to discuss any drawing style (anything related to art in general)
Trying to save the thread here ...

I would say It's about 1-3 hours of work. Spread it over a week, and you only have to do 15-30 minutes each day.
And many users spend that time on the forum anyways ...

No, I'm talking about the large gradient going diagonally in the background.
What's up with that?
A simple one-colored background would have done just fine instead of that big-ass cyan color dragging all the attention ...

I know nothing about cars, so I just picked one at random, but then the next day, I saw the exact same car while waiting for the bus!
