2nd one in my opinion. it shows more anticipation.

Other than that, try moving away from animating stickmen. They are pretty simple and easy to animate and they don't look too attractive :P

You animation skills are very good indeed!
very stylish and nice! I enjoyed watching it alot!

I would highly recommend you to add music in the two first minutes too though.
Nothing too dramatic or that takes attention away from the animation. Just a silent subtle classical thing would do perfect!

Other than that. fantastic job!

Some mics has to be plugged in BOTH ends. Meaning you'll have to plug the cable in the mic and put the other end (the one that you didn't put in the mic) in the computer. Make sure the cable actually fits in the computer

I'd suggest making the resolution lower when at max pixely stage of the loop.

And maybe add some movement to it. So instead of just making one image more pixely, you animate it and as it loops/animates, it becomes more/less pixely

You have very thick lines for the jacket but thinner lines for the hands, try to keep line thickness more constant

Yes you do

Is the image size correct?

No it isn't

The user icon should be 46x46 pixels, your is much too big. You have to shrink it to fit, and crop it so that it's in the right ratio (1:1)

Story is written by the most famous danish farytale writer, H.C. Andersen.

Nowadays, it's much cheaper to produce a show with actors than to hire expensive animators to make a series. Also, teenage bands sells better than deep stories apparently.

It is indeed very sad. I wish they could just take a step back and gain some perspective.

Well, first I'd say the chains are much more detailed than the heart, you should either try to simplify the chains or make the heart more detailed to create more balance.

Also I see conflicting shading here.
I take it one of the chains are just duplicated.
Highligtning is marked yellow, shadow is marked blue and ~lightsource is marked with a sun.

I also added another heart you could use as a reference

Response to: Painted-gorilla's art thread Posted August 26th, 2010 in Art

first thing i see is the massive empty space, if you're planning on doing stuff there, you should add the sketch there as well, either that or just crop away the white space (which was like 75% of the image)

Other than that, the lines are really thick and sloppy, so I suggest working that. Also the character is very simple.

Assuming you have flash, I believe you can just drag the movieClip symbol (or graphic symbol) from the library to the stage.
Make sure the layer you're on is neither locked nor invisible.

Hope that helped!

Good luck with your animation!
