Well, I'd suggest drawing your own stuff. Using references is fine, but instead of copying a single reference image, try using several different ones to draw your own version.

The lines are awfully distracting, I'd strongly recommend switching to regular paper if you're planning on submitting stuff to the art portal.

Also, you should probably have a read at art101's tutorial on how to properly document your work. With just a few changes you can make the background completely white, and remove the ugly border on the left hand side.

The lines are tougher though, hence why you should stop drawing on it.

I suggest attempting to drag the tape out of the tape recorder to see if there's a button inside the tape that opens the door.
Also check if the tape recorder is edible.

The first one looked much more crisp. With the blur effect added, it looks like a bad-quality jpg file destroyed it.
I find the first one much more interesting because all the tiny details don't get smudged beyond recognition.

Either way, I think the glow-blur is too much for both of the last posted illustrations.

I think these'd look just as good without the glow blur thing going on.

I suggest posting pics in the forums, rather than just linking to another site. It's much more appealing for anyone considering to give feedback
