When you start Photoshop, it doesn't actually cache your fonts. It does this because it isn't always necessary to work with type (think quick photography adjustments etc). It then loads all your fonts, and starts creating samples (the ones at the right). The amount of time this process takes depends on how many fonts you have, and how fast your computer can work.
Excessively large font banks, or corrupt font files can slow the process down. You might wanna try to find a tool to hunt down heavy fonts that might take extra time to load.
I'm assuming the crash is caused by windows recognizing photoshop as unresponsive because the load time is so long.

Not general consensus as much as a new viewpoint, or what should be the general consensus.

Source?
Well the media is the primary source of information. Since the arrival if the internet information has become much easier to access, but it hasn't changed the medias importance. I'm thinking with new social medias competing for the attention, news-oriented medias lose some of their spot.
Also, it has nearly become granted to be able to read anything in one sentence. Twitter statuses, facebook messages, chatrooms, and the infamous "tl;dr" are the reason and outcome. When someone spots a news article that doesn't immediately catch their interest, it's more likely they'll skip to the next one, or scroll further down their feed.
At least, that's my theory.
The media will always have the last say in what the masses should see and not. Picking appropriate cases should be one of the most important part of a mass media company along with serious and objective presentation of said cases. That said, not everyone sets this as their priority and are much more concerned in keeping their view number high. In this case the journalists and editors should be called entertainers rather than anything else.
In order to convince more viewers to watch their channel, it's necessary to present their cases in a concise and entertaining way (not many bothers to read ten pages of science jabber when you can find a headline saying "TIME TRAVEL NOW POSSIBLE"). In the end, view count and subscribes decide what makes news and what doesn't. If super scary, dramatic killings sells twice the newspapers, you can be sure said newspaper will try to repeat their success.
More. First one's supposed to be this guy.
Aaaaand I have no idea of what I'm doing again.
Suprised no-one has said the League of Legends community.
Full of people raging at each other for the tiniest mistake. Dunning-krüger effect everywhere ..

I am not much of a logo type person. I am more with laying out designs. I can make other graphics, but when it comes to logos, I fail.
It seems like it's because what you're working towards is not really a logo design. From what I can tell you reworked the dragon drawing and put it in a box. I'm sure it looks lovely as a user icon, but it doesn't really work as a logo. It looks like the dragon was originally made to be sort of a mascot rather than a logo. Much like the tankmen are for Newgrounds - fairly recognizable and easily associated with the website, but also able to convey a variety of expressions (see this vs this).
You'll want to brainstorm for ideas. Your website is all about drawing and drawing tutorials, so you probably want to have your logo associate drawing. It's also called "Drago"Art, which is probably why you've gone for having a dragon in your logo. I think your best bet is to include both elements in your logo. The dragon on its own doesn't really tell me the site is about drawing, and using only drawing as an element would most likely end up being very generic and not unique to your website. I'd recommend finding some paper and spend some time sketching up a dozen different ideas. If you've got a scanner/camera/phone you can share your sketches as well as what you think of them.
tl;dr brainstorm ideas - sketch some up - show us what you got.

I wish I had spent more time looking for a higher res reference, but I guess that's a lesson for next time.
At least it looks human.

My bad, I meant to link to their forum. It's unsorted though, soooo it might take some time to find what you're looking for.

I tried to replicate the original image. There's a notable loss in detail in his hair compared to the rest of his face, although that can be caused by applying a surface blur.
The only way I see this being legitimate, is if they have absolutely no idea of how to publishing their work.

I'm guessing they weighted visuals over practical use.
Or they didn't take the time to figure a dynamic tagging system.
They could also have considered that it would concern such a small portion of the userbase, that it simply didn't reach a high priority as a feature.

It could've been taken down. He's made a few newsposts regarding trouble with the law, and NG taking down his submissions.

You might want to consider adding a rule that goes something like "All voters must have X posts in the art forum for the vote to count". It doesn't have to be so much it affects any legitimate voters, but will give you a rule to fall back on when 1post/1day accounts are posting.

Standard A5 - 1748 x 2480 px 300dpi is probably your best bet. I'd give them a call to make sure, but I'm certain they'll be able to make just about anything work.
As long as it has reasonable resolution.
What format are you thinking of, and are you printing them yourself?

Just because something could be interpreted as a negative remark, doesn't necessarily make it flaming.
As for me, I think I'll refrain from voting this time around. Seeing as I haven't been paying attention to the forum I think my votes would be unfair and biased.
Well, the votes will probably be biased in some way regardless.
Maybe next year.
You might have better luck in the dedicated animation forum. Good luck!
