I use something called WiMP. It's really crappy, runs on adobe air, and has certain limits when it comes to available artists. On the plus side, it's free for me to use, and fits my needs.
The rare occasions I need something to play videos in certain formats, I just go with VLC.
The thing about westboro baptist church is they sees all the negativity against them as a sign of them being right. This means they deem literally all media coverage of them as a positive thing and that it's helping them "spreading the word of god".
I think the best that can happen is they get zero media coverage, and people stop caring about them. Or possibly if the generation keeping the family together dies out, perhaps the new ones will be more open-minded?
Not a movie, but the Deus Ex soundtrack was a perfect fit to the game.

Most likely just an alt looking to fight.
The answer is hard to answer properly, because what is deemed by the society as "evil" changes over time, and there's no way to accurately measure the "evilness" of children growing up.
My personal take is there's a 50/50 genetics, environment split in what causes a person to grow up to be "evil". I'm thinking evil in the terms of extreme misanthropy. There can be mental disorders that follow from the beginning, causing symptoms like various degrees of psychopathy. In other cases, parents neglect is the underlying cause, perhaps working as some kind of trigger of what's already there?
These are only speculations. We don't know enough about the human brain to determine specific things like this as of now.
I've never had anything besides alcohol, and I'm staying away because I don't think I have the self control to stop taking more, and I definitely can't afford any of it.
Seeing as this discussion is floating about, I thought I'd drop a few of my thoughts.
It should never be said that it was the victims "fault" they got raped, but I'd definitely say it's important to take precautions to make sure it won't happen. Drinking excessively, and wearing "suggestive" clothes shouldn't have to be a problem, but in the world we live in it can be, and people have to take precautions and adapt to that reality.

I play Havegum as a drawing character. I take 21 points in effort and 9 in utility. I take post length quints, indifference marks and seals, as well as effort glyphs.
Havegum's passive allows all non-image posts to remain unnoticed, effectively avoiding conflict whenever I do a misplay.
All I have are these from NG. And only one of them is a plushie.

I'm pretty sure I won't.
The official record is 11 days. I've read somewhere that after eight days with no sleep, your are declared as clinically insane until you sleep again, I can't seem to find a source on that though.
Regardless, after two days without sleep, the body really starts shutting down. Memory function loss, and increase in stress hormones is normal. When you're sleeping the body starts repairing damaged brain cells amongst other things, lack of sleep and increased stress is stopping that process. Thought the effect is temporary, it could take up to two weeks before the body is fully restored. In the mean time, your brain will work harder to compensate.
Of course, these are effects of course only after a few days without sleep, I don't believe 24 hours without sleep on its own ever hurt anyone.
Supposedly when trying to remember dreams, not moving after waking up is helpful. Stress, caffeine, and irregular sleeping patterns are the biggest dream killers.

I'm taking a liking to Wesseltoft's takes of various songs.
I remember seeing one a few days ago where there was a nipple showing. I don't get it now, so I guess it got taken off?
Anyway, scarlet blade seems to be the worst offender, but their ads show up like 80% of the cases.

On the contrary, "Halvard" just rolls off the tongue!

Seek professional help and/or meet new people and do new things, possibly. I can't say I have been in the same situation, nor is it likely I fully understand the feeling you're describing, so the former is my best bet.

I remember having similar thoughts a few years back. Chains of thoughts spiralling in a similar manner to this. I began realising chain thoughts like that are extremely saddening, and I tried to stop caring about the future and live in the current (cliche, but whatever).
I think a combination of that, and meeting a bunch of new people, and keeping myself busy, helped me get out of that extremely depressing way of thinking. Now often when I think about the future, my first concern is "will I still see my current friends?".
On a more serious note Cecilie, Lene, Tone, and Marit all sound nice.
Alternatively Sondre, Martin, Aleks (lol), and Marius.

And while you may not have a large say in what defines your own personality - it does belong to you.

That is a solid argument which I too use in discussions like this - that is something along the lines of "should we not be able to give informed consent before doing body-altering surgery?"
The point I was trying to make (rather jokingly) was that it makes no difference at that time for the baby.
The people I talk with generally won't directly quote internet memes, but maybe slip in a reference here and there.
In IM's we have short bursts of ironically spewing absolute bullshit (DAE LE [ENT]ERNETZ [M]EE-MEE'S ANY1??? XD XD). My friends and I all have this intense lovehate to most of internet culture.

I'm not trying to imply anything other than there's no reason you have to vaguely note that the word "Electro" is used wrong, and not simply state the correct term.
You're misinterpreting my point, but I don't know how to make: "There's nothing wrong in wanting to educate, but there's no reason to mock them while doing it." any clearer.
At 3/18/13 08:17 PM, TheColourAwesome wrote: Clear how?
It's clear in the sense that you can read from the rest of the genres they mentioned that they didn't mean Electro in the technically correct sense, as you said. And because the general idea of what genres they prefer is clear despite the misuse, there's no reason to dwell in the technicalities. If you truly were curious as to what genres they prefer, you could simply ask them to clarify.
There is no need to start nitpicking in technicalities because the general idea is clear. There's nothing wrong in wanting to educate, but there's no reason to mock them while doing it.
All this aside I find the thread very interesting. Lots of stuff that's new to me that I'll have to hear more of later.

That is true, I'm not very familiar with the specific English terminology I've been using, apologies for that. My point is that the OPs message is perfectly clear even with the misuse of Electro. And you're not educating or clearing the misunderstanding with "No you don't. You definitely don't like Electro."
