The second we discover the nature of anything deemed to be supernatural, it stops being supernatural by definition.

You keep pumping out really cool concepts and I can't help myself but doodling a bit here and there.

The main thing I did here was to simplify the ground he's walking on, so that the dark lines don't collide with the character sprite. I also removed the dark outlines on the poles supporting the pipes, as well as added a few pixels under them so as to make it look like they're carrying the pipes, rather than just attached to them, if that makes sense.

As with last time, some of the changes might not have been for better, and if you have any questions feel free to ask!

Nobody's said Iceland?
Iceland!

Volcanoes, Glaciers, Cliffs, Waterfalls, northern lights, alien-looking mossy fields?
Water and electricity is close to free for the citizens, due to geothermal heating - a renewable source of energy in which Iceland is bursting the boundaries with it's cutting edge technology!

The country also functions as a sort of travel hub for planes travelling between North America and Europe, and the main airport there (Keflavik Airport) is generally looked upon as one of the best in Europe.

Though I guess one of the downsides of being born and living there is accidental incest, but they've got all that sorted out with an app!

So if you're good friends with a current moderator, and you're generally a helpful user you've probably got a good shot.

In a setting where animals can talk and understand each other, it makes sense. Children books commonly feature talking animals.

The English version of "Waters of March" is a bit nonsensical, but I guess it makes sense in it's original language.

In the event of failed attempts, you're most likely gonna get put in a psychiatric hospital for a while, and the people working there will evaluate the situation from there.

I wouldn't recommend it though, from what I understand it may be easy enough to be put in a mental institution, but getting out is supposedly near impossible.

Response to: Favorite Game-World? Posted October 6th, 2013 in General

I think it's a bit weird to just assume you'd be "the one" in whatever gameworld you'd choose to step into considering the chances are extremely low.

So assuming I'd just be a regular citizen, I'd pick gameworlds I'm less likely to get killed. I don't remember having played any games with a strictly utopian setting though.

The world Valve depicts in their games seems liveable. Deus Ex' world seems alright for people that are well off economically, but ruthless for everyone else. I'd probably pick the world as is in Civilization V, at least there I've got the chance to be a part of a cultural or scientific empire and not end up in the middle of a warzone. The different continents could also make for some weird geography.

The Rhinoceros Party of Canada was a politically satirical party which had an interesting list of promises:

Repealing the Law of Gravity.
Tearing down the Rocky Mountains so that Albertans could see the Pacific sunset.
Annexing the United States.

They also planned to tow Antarctica north to the Arctic Circle. "Once we have Antarctica, we'll control all of the world's cold. If another Cold War starts, we'll be unbeatable"
