I've noticed I'm having some trouble when rendering gestures to a finer details - especially when working without reference. In the end I guess it's because I'm practicing in 90 second intervals mostly, neglecting the steps ahead.

So here's some 10 minute scribbles. The idea is to practice the transition from sketch to finished portrait, without investing hours into making each drawing perfect.

Given the still shortish time interval some of these are wandering down uncanny valley, but I hope to get out of there as I practice more.

My internet shut down yesterday, so I didn't get a chance to upload yesterdays studies.
Though I guess nobody's keeping track or anything.

So here's the 90 sec gestures from today and yesterday

As I said, I don't think porn is the problem. Just make sure you're open to comments and critique. In the end we're just looking to make your practice as efficient as possible!

For instance, a few people recommended doing gesture studies to boost your knowledge and confidence on anatomy! Personally I hesitate to make myself start a gesture study session because I'm a bit weak on it, but I find it's easier if I set aside a specific time of the day for doing just that!

This site also has the option to turn on a "nudes only" filter, which might be more relevant to you!

Constant and deliberate practice is key to improving yourself!
Isolate the core of a thing you want to get better at, find a way to practice that one thing, and set off some time for yourself to practice!

Slow and steady wins the race and there's no shortcut to improvement.

I think what you are looking for is a porn site. The vibe of this forum leans more towards helping you develop and improve yourself artistically!

In other words: not interested in your porn, more in helping you get better at drawing it!

Do you mean on a professional basis, and if so - which part of the production process do you want to be a part of?
A key part of doing creative work is dedication. Find out what you want to do and dedicate your time honing your skills towards that goal.

One hour.

I notice there are a lot of lines here, both actually drawn and implied. A lot of the lines are pointing slightly right of the bottom center. My eyes are drawn towards the trees in the center, I think this is because that's the are packed most densely with contrast, contrary to much of the rest of the landscape which is covered in fog from the waterfall.

I look at the painting in a circular way, starting with the light patch of grass in the middle, sweeping over the trees in the foreground and up the cliff with the waterfall, following the edge of the mountains, before sliding back down towards the light patch of grass with the trees.

So when I look around the internet I see master studies are being praised and recommended a lot.

I'm wondering if anyone here has experiences doing master studies, and if you could tell me how it's helpful for personal improvement?

There are many emotional hurdles to overcome when it comes to assisted suicide. There's the family and friends who's still clinging on to hope, there's the doctor and his conscience, there's this culture of saving all life whenever possible, and of course there's the mortally ill person in the center of it.

Heavy plated armor on the chest, shoulders and head, because, well, that's where you're most likely to get hit if someone attacked you. The chainmail all over the rest of the body suffices to prevent chopping/sweeping blows (though impaling/thrusting would def. knock her on her ass). I'd like to believe the lack of armor on her lower half is so she can have full mobility rather than being bogged down by an ass ton of armor. I mean, look at her, there's no way she could support a massive amount of armor, she's way too thin.
one could question the giant metal boots, however.

Chain mails biggest weakness is blunt instruments. The concept of having plate cover the chest is usually a good idea, but not if the plate functions as a death trap if she trips and falls on her chest.

That armor design is so backwards! Why is there only leather on the sides? And why is the plate armor even there, creating a huge weak spot in her chest!

Everything is looking good. My superior officer hinted he would be interested in creating an internship just for me, which would sort everything in the world for me. I've started doing daily art studies, so I'm slowly but steadily improving there as well!
