and learn how to draw stuff that you want to draw, so if lets say you want to know how to draw people, knowing anatomy and how clothing works helps

Since you're a complete beginner, first you'd need to know your tools. Draw With Jazza was a big help for me, so i suggest to check his stuff out. Second, try to improve your arts in general, study some anatomy n shit, even if you're going to draw toons, it gives you a better understanding on how to make people look more organic.

line quality is good if you know how to maneuver it, different styles of lines can give different looks for animations. Also knowng anatomy n shit might help your anime style look more like anime
