Hmm, surely someone has? I can't think of anything else to search under, and it's definitely on Newgrounds somewhere!

If you can't last more than two weeks then that's a bit weak.

Also, if the contest is just not to masturbate for 2 weeks, why not have sex instead? =P

Humanity is unnatural, sex is about the most natural thing we still do as a species. Animals bonk animals of the same sex too, in fact in some species of monkey it's common for females to engage in 'tribalism' (look it up in Wikipedia), which is a lesbian sex style for those that don't know =)

I'd maybe take it if he/she/it paid ME, otherwise an NG account isn't worth any money at all. Except maybe Tom's with full admin priviledges, but then they can still just pull the plug at their end :)

Posted: 11/20/06 06:48 PM

Forum: General

The search function has failed me, so I'm hoping someone remembers the name or author of a toon I'm looking for.
It's a series that doesn't have a series page, and it would most definitely get a Mature rating, it was about a blonde and a goth who live next door, and compete with each other by playing dirty (and usually rather sexy) tricks on each other.

I could have sworn it was something like "Alpha versus Omega", but that hasn't turned it up so any help would be good =)

Cheers (it's worth finding btw, heh. For the amusing or arousing aspect, whichever you prefer)

Topic: New Header

Posted: 02/16/06 07:36 PM

Forum: NG News

I loike the new header, it's bold and bright, the other one was nice, but felt like it was trying too hard and ended up a bit too busy. This one seems more polished overall.

However, I do agree on the slogan, I don't see what the big problem is with the old one, it was catchy, and it is one of the things that makes this web-site. To me the phrase "The problems of the future, today!" always implied a freedom of expression that other sites and outlets never truly allowed. This site was happy to be controversial and allow such content (hopefully most of us remember the teletubbies paradies and the BBC complaints, if not then go look!)

Everything, by everyone, just doesn't have a ring to it really. It doesn't even make much sense to be honest, as it's a minority of people who have actually made things for this site, hardly 'everyone'.

Posted: 02/15/06 06:04 PM

This new header is messed up on Safari for Mac :(

I don't believe it's Safari itself, but the fact that I have a large minimum font-size (hi-res screen so hard to read otherwise) and you've likely used the 'size' attribute to specify the width of the username/password boxes. You should use pixel (e.g CSS) widths for textboxes that are required to fit in a limited space, and always try to leave room for larger fonts to appear in.

I don't have a ton of time to look for specific fixes atm, I will though if it will help!

P.S - Anyone who flames the browser is an idiot, it's a couple simple things that most web designers (including myself!) tend to skip over and can break layouts.

It's just you, because it was actually the most poorly done spoof ever. Firstly, trying to spoof a funny thing doesn't really work so well anyway, because, well, it doesn't! Austin Powers is funny because it's spoofing James Bond, which is a mostly serious set of films, spoofed in an over-the-top and downright hilarious way.
This had no humour, period, the animation was pants and the drawings mediocre, the song was...quite simply the reason I closed it after about 30 seconds, I'll leave at that otherwise I might get banned.

It saddens me to think that enough of my fellow top 2000 voters placed votes on it that it managed to get 7th place for movies. It's bloody well on 1.12 for overall score, and with good reason! 1.12 is at least twice as good as it deserves.

It wasn't, it's still there, just says "File deleted" in the description for some reason, a mod/admin should really put a description in there on Pearlman's behalf now that it's been added to two fairly popular collections.

Aren't all zebras naked? It's hard enough to get a horse to wear a winter coat, and zebras are more tempermental!

This game wasn't my cup of tea, I own a horse but I'm not about to go out and sexually abuse her. I guess how right or "wrong" this game is depends on whether people play it then go out and start bonking animals, which definitely would be wrong. Though I guess what someone makes of an animation depends upon them and not the author (though they are still responsible to a point).
It is however very well drawn and animated, and I think it's dreadful that people would write such hate-filled messages to the author just because they don't like the movie. No-one forces you to watch a movie on NewGrounds!

Seems this guy's site has gone kaput though. I found this entry through his other works such as Icewind Dale, and it really is a shame that he seems to have given up on all of his projects. Has anyone seen, heard from or been able to contact the guy? I'd have donated to help him out with the whole burnt-down office thing, but I can't do that if the PayPal link is no-longer where I can get it =)

Posted: 07/04/05 03:45 PM

Friend of mine on a forum I frequent posted a kinda...random animation on NG entitled "Boys N the hood" but it isn't really getting the love it should!

Since my vote is worth about 7 normal ones I have improved its score a bit, but Roxie still needs your help to get her animation a better score!

So if you're game, go watch it and rate it high, hey I'm in the top 1000 voters so you should definitely join in.

The link is this funny coloured text here which you can click to make things happen.

I also like ponies, so if you like ponies too then you should vote.

>> 9. "The Fox and the Mirrior"

Damn, I'm really disappointed that this submission didn't do better, it definitely deserver one of the top 5 places.

Newgrounds SIM was okay, but got boring and I couldn't really be bothered with it
Bunnykill was fun and cool, but nothing too original
RAB 13 was a good entry in the series, but IMO there's only so much toilet humour you can get away with, it's declining I think overall.
Valhalla knights was sweet, definitely deserved a place and I look forward to more on that one!
DucktaleZ3 was funny, but ultimately far too basic and not that funny, it dragged on at parts.

I've got the NVidia 6800 Ultra DDL 256mb, it's as sweet as fresh pussy-juice, but probably out of your price range.

I'd go with the Radeon 9600 or 9700 ranges, they make great budget cards and should perform pretty well even with newer games.

Posted: 05/21/05 07:11 PM

Forum: General

Subway > McSpermBurger any day.

However it ranges from really good to okay-ish depending which restaurant you go to. My local one rules because the guy in charge knows me and actually puts decent amounts of chicken or whatever on your sub, and the bread is done perfectly, not too dry and crumbly.
Meanwhile the subway in Glasgow (where my University is) is crap, they put precisely the regulation amount (practically none) onto the sub, and the bread is so dry that it almost shatters when you bite into it, they don't recommend sauces that go well with particular fillings or anything.

I still prefer good old pizza hut or a local indian.

Topic: Best Legal Musicdownloading Program

Posted: 05/20/05 07:06 PM

Forum: General

iTunes, I tried looking for "So long & thanks for all the fish" (from the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy) on p2p networks but all the hosts were crap.

iTunes Music Store is very easy to use, and is now available in loads of countries. If you're not using iTunes for managing your music then you should be.

Also, unless I'm very much mistaken, ALL legal music download places give you the files in some proprietory format with digital rights protection (ie can only have it on so many computers at once etc).
So if you're going to get stuck with a proprietory format, it mays as well be AAC because it's around two thirds the size of an mp3 for the same quality (or higher quality for the same size, depends how you look at it). Meanwhile Microshaft's solution is some WIndows Media format but Windows Media is typically very poor.
Plus iTMS is one of the few that lets you burn your downloaded music to CD, despite this actually being the easy way around the protection (burn then import).
