There was always a limit for duty free shopping; it's nothing new. I flew four times last month and everyone was carrying a 40 oz bottle of whiskey, vodka, or tequila with them. That's nowhere near 250 ml.

Since when? Of course you can take alcohol on board; what do you think all those "duty free" shops at the airport are for? After you purchase it, you have to carry it on with you; your luggage has already been checked in.

I only managed to get milk powder..

1 cup water + 1 cup powdered milk + 1/2 cup sugar = condensed milk
you'll have to boil the water and sugar together first and stir until everything dissolves

How come you can wear a bikini comfortably and be seen with it, yet it it's underwear, you freak out? it's the same thing! we can probably see more with the bikini than the underwear.

When people wear swimwear they're aware that their body is being exposed. Most people will remove body hair, put on lotion, and temporarily improve their posture to keep themselves looking nice while at the beach. Bathing suits are also made of thicker material than underwear; you can't see through them and they're less likely to wedge into someone's bottom.

Underwear is typically fairly thin and transparent. It would be awful to have semi x-ray vision which allowed you to see people's underwear. I don't want to look at overflowing pubic hair, maxipad wings, or a variety of bodily fluid stains. Go inside the women's locker room at your local gym if you really want to be grossed out.

When I was in elementary school an educational singing duo would come perform at our school every year. They always held up an "applesauce" sign between acts. I didn't like their sign because we had to clap to be polite, but because we did clap they probably thought we couldn't read very well.

I never really watched any of those shows except Doug, because they were for rich kids with cable. Also, I didn't watch very many cartoons in the 90s because they weren't very good compared to the cartoons of the 80s. Carebears, Fraggle Rock, Snorks, Smurfs, He-Man, She-ra, My Little Pony, and Transformers are way more hip.

80s>90s

P.S. - Ren and Stimpy humor = Sponge Bob humor

I wouldn't consider any of those "high end" clothing brands. If it comes from a store located inside of every single mall in America, you know it's not high end.

If there isn't a local vendor crew that already has that territory claimed or if the local gangs don't demand "rent" from you, then that's actually a really good idea. Vendors in good locations make way more money than I do, especially if they don't report their income to the IRS. Just make sure you look young so the police won't fine you for vending without a permit.

No, if it were a Japanese word, it would follow the rules for pure vowels for Romanized writing and say "Nay-Nay". It would need to be spelt nini in order for it to say "nee-nee"

It could still be interpreted as "nee-nee" if you were thinking of the old 2nd grade open syllable rule.

My little brother (now 24) used to get letters like this in the mail starting when he was about 5 years old. They claimed his teacher entered his writing in a contest and he had won. These scams have been around forever. They tell you that you've won something and then you pay to have your work published or to buy the award that you "won."

Topic: What should I do with my hair?

Posted: 01/25/08 09:36 PM

Your hair would look better straight than it does naturally if you washed, conditioned, and brushed it regularly. It looks too oily in the top picture which makes it unattractive. Long hair on males only looks nice if they maintain it properly.
I'm not really a fan of chemically altered hair, so two better options, in my opinion, rather than going to a salon and having it straightened would be:
-grow your hair longer so its own weight naturally makes your hair straighter
-comb your hair immediately after washing it and periodically as it air drys (do not blow dry); this will prevent it from puffing up like it does in the lower picture
