This is the third news topic that mentions it.

The reason so many movies showed up so fast is because they were all on the portal before and I had to remove them because "Josh Bedn" had his mom write us an email (although we think it was Josh pretending to be his mom) telling us to remove them. We had to comply because the original movies had an actual photograph of him. So I told BBC he could resubmit them once he hand-drew Josh and didn't use his real picture, and also didn't spell his name correctly. So once he did this he re-submitted them. They orginally had a big following so when they came back on people were quick to re-support them.

Oh, OK.
I guess that makes more sense.
And the highest score is 3.25 now, which is good.
It's not like I think they should be deleted or anything. I just don't think they deserve to be on the top 50.
Basically, I've learned enough on the topic through this thread to no longer care.

But of course, we'd have to also make flash that kisses up to the FULPS. As the old saying on NG goes, "If the FULPS are with me, who else can be against me?"

It's been done.
And nobody wants ANOTHER bunch of movies complaining that some other movies on Newgrounds are not good movies and should not be made because they are bad.
Those movies usually end up worse than the movies they're complaining about.

And frankly, I don't think the clocks are the problem.
I don't think as many NG users hate the clocks as you think either.
The pro-clock people probably outnumber the anti-clock people.
And the "I have no idea who the clocks are" people probably make up the majority of users.

Sigh.
I'm starting to give up on Newgrounds.
When a movie that cruelly (and poorly, IMHO) picks on some guy nobody knows made the #4 place on the top 50, it really depressed me that Newgrounds is even more full of assholes than I had previously assumed.

And now you tell us that it's OK to pick on this Josh Bend guy because the movies were based on the truth?

Yes I agree, but lets hope that something doesn't go too drastic as having Verisign and Age Verification sign in stuff where it requires you to have credit card and stuff (even though it's mostly used for porn sites). Because if that happens, New grounds will surely fall to pieces.

I've felt for a long time that the main part of the abuse of Newgrounds is by kids still in highschool.
Maybe if anyone is allowed to watch the movies, but only 18+ people can have Grounds Gold accounts...
That way, the young ones can still visit and promote Newgrounds, but they can't control the content.

Oh COME ON!
BaconBurgerClock is OBVIOUSLY an anti-clock person who is submitting rude and obnoxious animations to give clocks a bad name.
So, stop talking about deleting all Clock accounts because of her. You're doing just what she wants you to do.

Even though I generally like the clocks, I agree that it seems like a lot of people seem to vote 5 on a movie purely because the word "clock" is in the author's name without even watching it..
And it's extremely unfair to people who actually work hard on their movies when three variations of "JOSH BEDN APOLOGISES" all win the Daily Feature.
Clock predjudice goes both ways.

Also, to people who are still upset that they can't say, "Fuck ur mommy cunt licking small penis bastard blam this crap" on every review...
Make your OWN website similar to Newgrounds and make your own rules.

What do you do when you go to a fast food joint?
Order a burger with no bun, no lettuce, no tomato, no pickles, no onions, and no ketchup, musturd or mayonaise?
And you can forget about french fries.

I'm a mac user and the animation doesn't start for me unless I control-click (equivalent to right-click on a PC) and hit play.

When using Ex[plorer, I see no number values for the score, attack power, and .swf file name and it says that I'm not logged in even though I am.

When using Netscape, the values are filled in and it shows me as logged in, but I frankly am not too fond of Netscape.

You know what?
I bet they were talking about Flash WEBSITES, rather than Flash ANIMATIONS.

It seems to me, though, that unless your website specifically showcases Flash animations (like newgrounds does) designing your site in Flash instead of HTML is a pretty foolish thing to do.

I mean, not everyone viewing the world wide web has Flash, but everyone DOES have HTML.
I'm always seeing web sites designed in Flash when HTML and JavaScript could have been used to create the exact same effect with a much shorter load time.
