Hi, I love to write poetry and such, so it'd be cool to post some of my work,

I haven't really seen one lately (and if you have please tell me) but I think it would be really cool if someone started one. I can't... because I'm not really sure how and I don't really have anything I could give for prizes but I thought I would suggest it. Oh, and I don't mean a poetry battle, I mean a contest that anyone could send in their work on any topic. (and PLEASE if there was one or there is going to be one someone tell me because I would look pretty stupid...)

I hope someone takes an interest in this so I can send in my poetry! >:D *hint, hint*

OMGOODNESS! I'm sorry I even brought my age into this frick! I meant that because I'm thirteen I can't get a job so I can get a tablet!!! SORRY SORRY SORRY!

Anyways please don't misunderstand... that wasn't what I meant at all heheh I didn't want you to put me on a level on my age maybe I should've said when I started drawing, but sorry to say you probably would've said that was an excuse also.... I'm not trying to insult you by that but please don't jump to conclusions ;) I just want to say that you should try to understand better what people are trying to say or something along those lines... or maybe I'm jumping to conclusions... whatever.

Anyway I appreciate your comments and I'll definetly become better! I'll definetly go up from being a low middleish

I really appreciate the time you're taking to critisize my work, I really take it to heart. Right now I'm just doing this as a hobby, I think it will just stay a hobby because I want to be a pastry chef lol. I feel bad for saying lol on here lol... oh noes! Anyway you are a great critisize-er person and I'm sorry to say I don't know what any of that stuff is so I can't really tell you what I'm using someone told me what photoshop is but I cannot remember for the life of me. What I really want to know now is, am I at a pretty good level? I mean... I don't usually draw on the computer and I find it fun but I want to know if I'm doing ok ;)

ps I probably spelled critisize wrong because I'm silly and I'm too lazy to use spell check >_<

anyway TO THE ART In my opinion, graffiti like this isn't really what someone would want to see on a wall, sorry to say it's just something that I would go past and say, 'Why do people do this to our community?' and brush it off. (not saying people want graffiti, just saying that if people want to graffiti they should make it interesting :D)

I suggest you put more colours in and maybe make a story behind it. When I do art I usually get a great inspiration and I want people to see it, yet sometimes it doesn't work that way... and that's life. put a backround, give the picture a life and then people will want to see it. Just so you know I'm not a proffesional artist, I just know this stuff.

To start you off... maybe put the peice of graffiti on a slanted wall and make the spray of the paint trailing off to find a dead man (gangster) lying on the ground with a bullet through is chest. Also maybe the graffiti should say something that people protest about, like something that has to do with the end of gangs or something. I know it's difficult and would take alot of artistic ability (it depends on if you are capable of drawing this) but it would be a strong piece that draws people in. Hope this helps :D (Wow I come up with awesome ideas... anyone can use this I guess... but maybe it's not that awesome, whatever.)

But I love the interesting designs and if you work really hard, you will be capable of making awesome-er art! :3

just so you know I'm using a mouse and that's pretty difficult... I'm hoping I can get a tablet soon as I can draw much better by hand >_<

"Man on the tv?" Kyle wondered as he scanned the room, he noticed a small tv in the corner and raised his brow, "Like in the movies... a mysterious man on the t.v. giving you directions. You believe him?" He casually picked up a gun that was on a rack of guns. He immediatly threw the gun on the ground after he picked it up, "What the hell kind of gun is that!?" he demanded as he stared at the gun in shock, It was definetly not a gun he had ever seen before and it pricked him when he picked it up. "I made that..." a short boy that looked around ten years old was standing next to Kyle, putting up his hand.

"Where is he?" Kyle demanded, slamming his fist on a nearby desk "I can help him! I-I've got first aid training!" He frantically searched his pocket for his badge wich showed his medical bill, he had just found the leather book in his pocket when he felt a small yet muscular hand grab his shoulder, when Kyle looked up from his frantic search he saw a beautiful black haired woman in front of him. "There's no time for proof." She said in a hard tone, "If you have any type of medical training we need you now. Follow me." she turned and waved for Kyle to follow her, before he could say anything, Kyle found himself following the lady into a dark room that was lit up by a red, flashing light. "What is this place?" he wondered as he looked around the room, it was too dark to see anything and the red light only lit up a small part of the room.

uhm, so what do you think i can improve on? like anything in the pic that doesn't make sense?

ok... I may sound like a newb but what is photoshop exactly? all these terms... I'm only a child people! :D The picture up there is actually a drawing I took a photo of then edited on the computer, is that what photoshop is? that would make sense... omg i'm sorry this is so noooooobish *bawls in the corner.

oh well... I can't exactly affort a tablet :(
I don't think the mouse is too hard to control, you just need lots of practice, I just want to know how people can make their art look so amazingly awesome! >:D

I was wondering if there are any good tips on making art with a mouse, I do all my art with a mouse but I'm not sure how to change it from being mediocre to AWESOME :D
