At least there's a member on board. But yes, the plea! Looking for a kind soul! I will be taking care of all menu, credit, and transition animations (unless others want some of those), so the only work will be placing movie clips along.

Frustrations

Go ahead and list your current grievances here...I know I'm going to.

1. No one's willing to help out with my collab project and people seem more willing to judge someone's traced turtle in flash than respond to my thread.
2. Our guitarist showed up high to practice. Not a HUGE deal, but it didn't help anything
3. Bands are the most fickle customers when it comes to designs...at least local bands.
4. Super fucking hot in western PA today. Shit air conditioning in this trailer almost gave my family a heat stroke. (And don't tell me its 1000 degrees in Arizona, you people couldn't handle last winters -1000 degree winter).

Guess I should count my blessings too...

1. Our high guitarist spread an amazing amount of his wealth
2. The night finally has cooled me off. Here's hoping tomorrow's not as painful.
3. I've gotten ONE possible helper on my collab mission. Here's hoping he works out.
4. I got registered for classes a few days ago. Figuring all my financial aid works out, I should be ready to go for classes at the end of August.

I don't like how it shrank my browser window. and after maximizing it and hitting back, it effed up the previous screen and shrunk it. As soon as I hit a link I was good, but I dunno. Doesn't rub me the right way. Looks cool though.

Okay, so the premise is that old video game characters are finding religion. So what would happen if the black mage became a white mage (my idea, so please don't take it, haha). Basically take any religious jokes (priest and rabbi jokes, old church lady, you local college's Christian group) and apply them to 8-16 video game character. Sprites and drawings would be accepted.

Any other questions?

So I have this idea for a collab, but I need some help. I guess I should pitch the idea first though.

It would be entitled "Finding Religion: A Collab." The shorts themes would be based around video game characters (preferably ones originating from 8-16 bit days) finding religion. If that seems a little too vague, post your concerns here.

Now, as for what I need help with, I'm working in the stone ages here and am rolling on MX. This would mean I wouldn't be able to have any cartoons made by people using MX 2004 and up and that no one would join. So I need someone who's willing to partner up with me and arrange everything. This person will receive the second author spot REGARDLESS of whether or not they contributed animation-wise, though if they do, it'd be greatly appreciated.
(NOTE: The organizer, as I'll refer to him/her as, preferably should have a BA higher than 3.2)

Also, in this thread, you can say, "This collab FAILS." Or, you can say if you're interested in participating. By that, I'll judge whether or not I really want to go through with this project.
