it may be true that not ALL of us have seen profit from NG's success, but to say Tom's never given back would be a complete like. 10 users every month get freebies, and there are plenty of other contests that go on throughout the year that give out free stuff. Sponsorship isn't WHORING, it's' payment for a service. I want to be a graphic designer. Just because what I think I'm doing is art, doesn't mean I should feel bad for trying to make good money from it. I dunno, maybe I'm talking out my ass...

Well, I'm probably not gonna be here for a while (and just when I beat the 1000 mark). My mom got my dad's house (it involves divorce and a nursing home, blech), so in the last two days, we've moved everything to another trailer (although it be a nicer one) ten minutes up the road. This is the 5th time since school started last year that I've been involved in moving. What with moving into my dorm, moving into another dorm (by foot), moving into another dorm (by foot), and then finally coming home, it's been pretty exhausting. Then, i about 15-20 days, I'm going to have to move again to Pittsburgh. But I'm looking forward to that. Living in Oakland with good friends will be the bomb.

Our youth group did the same thing a while ago.

This one I came up with a good portion of the idea (though I don't appear). The guy who says the end is my good friend and bandmate steve. It's a parody of Narnia. The ice queen's bill cosby and the lion has a stoma.

The following year, sadly, I didn't attend. But the same group made an even better video. This one's a parody of the Rocky movie that was coming out. (A little Turkish Delight joke makes it in there, which makes me smile).

No not really but it is possible to simulate 3-d
alfabit is one of the few people who seem to have what flash is capable of down in terms of 3d.. and that's in as3
I doubt its possible in as2.

The Super Flash Bros did it actually (even though it never came out). He posted a link to it on the Flash Reg Lounge, even though I'm pretty sure it's dead now. It was really impressive.

My series...a series?

I recently PMed Tom to see if he would put my series (Twisted Little Creatures) on the series collection. There's 13 episodes in all (more than a lot of NG series), and although they didn't have the highest scores, it seemed like I had a pretty good fanbase. Hell, after I didn't release them for a while, some kid asked me if he could animate the series with my scripts (flattery!!!). So we'll see

If any of you have any better idea on how to accomplish my goal, I'd greatly appreciate them.

You seriously should. For someone who has the money to sponsor games, you should definitely have a couple hundred to go somewhere like http://www.customink.com. You'll be able to sell your shirts A LOT cheaper and will make more profit. Thank God NG is doing it themselves now.

Guys (and girls) I really don't want this to turn into a spam thread. I feel like this idea is losing its legitimacy ever second (both here and in my life). So here's the idea. I could still compile this if everyone who wants in will agree to not use as 2 or filters, and then publish them as Flash 6 files (and hopefully they'll open in MX without a problem). What do we think?
