Im confused, what?

I have a bit of help to give

- The ball movement,

Look up a pong tutorial here

- Making a serve happen, i.e. stop play and wait for a player to serve the ball,

Um that would be different depending on what the rest of the code is.

- A.I.

Have the enemy's x = tennis ball's x, but with a bit of lag so it takes time to get there and it's not instant.

- Stopping play if ball goes out or bounces twice,

I'm assuming that for bouncing yous animate it by making it smaller, so do that with code with _width and _height, and have a true/false value for it it reaches a certain width and height (ie. it's smaller and looks like it's on the ground) then add one to a variable called bounce. If that variable reaches two then have it stop, go to the next frame or something. For going out of court have an invisible line around the sides of the court with a hitTest.

- Keeping track of games & sets

hitTest with an invisible line behind each player. If the ball hits one, one variable, ie. player1score goes up by one.

- Different reactions of the ball with different button presses, i.e. space = slice, D = smash etc.

Probably something to do with the physics from a pong tutorial or something...

Use your imagination to make the effects better. Also, i think you should include both. Have option two as a plasma beam weapon, the first one as a regular gun. Also your gonna want to make more than one gun model.

There is, because that law only applies to objects under the force of gravity and nothing else. Motors, human muscles, us pushing a ball, all of those are outside forces that throw those laws off.

NIce. There is something wrong with my game though. I have played through the entire game on different characters with different teammates, not changing them once during the game unless I'm changing for Garrus/Wrex/Tali/Laira after I get them as team mates, but I never got the achievements for Krogan Ally, ect. I also didn't get the achievement for completing a playthrough on Veteran.

Anyone here looking forward to Mass Effect 2, which will be released in Q1 2010. I thoroughly enjoyed the first one (7 playthroughs, 1 soldier, 1 vanguard, 4 adept) even if I did play it a bit too much. I just hope the shit hasn't hit the fan since EA bought Bioware.
