But, but, but...SCIENCE!

Fuck science!

I'd rather treat New Year as the only special holiday in December. Yes, I'm aware of other holidays but I have nothing to do with their religion and same thing goes for Christmas.
Well, my mother was born on 25th of december, so it's pretty hard to NOT celebrate on that day (even though she celebrated her birthday on 27th for the last two years)
Celebrating just her birthday is possible. :)

Yes it is.

but what's wrong with visiting families and eating great food? You don't have to be religious to do that. :P
It should be limited to those with the right religious beliefs. At one point it must have been but later exploited worldwide.

But why can't I eat great food on christmas? Just because it's christmas? That would be stupid. ^^

Oh yeah, I get some presents from my presents, but they are just the icing on the cake.
No good having presents without a real meaning.

"presents from my presents", what was I thinking? But good you understood what I was trying to say anyway. ^^
The meaning of presents is: "Hey, I like you and I have something nice for you!"
Not giving presents because it's christmas and you don't believe in the religious meaning would be stupid again. If you don't believe in it's religious meaning, fine. But what hinders you to give out presents on that day? And I don't mean "presents" as in "I give you something because it's christmas" but as in "I give you presents because I like you".

And this year I have to buy someting for my niece as well... but what presents can you give to a one year old child? -.-
You should consider my whole family. They have to think what to get for my 1 month old cousin.

That's easy. Something loud that will annoy the parents. XD

Still better than to have to wait forever to get to level 30 (like it was before the redisign. The user with the highest exp was the level 30 user. If he continued to deposit you could never catch him).

1000 medal points = 50 experience points
So, do you guys like the idea?

No. The experience system should never be touched again. It's fine as it is now. They show your dedication to the site. If you are willing to come back here every day and deposit your experience, you have a high level. If you aren't that dedicated you have a low level. Simple as that.

In order to fix that I would say you would have to format and reinstall WinXP.

That's what I did. First time in years I had to do that. :/

If you can get Win7 I would just go ahead and install that.

Yeah, but I need at least 30GB disk space, but the parition I have for my system is only 10GB big (it's enough for XP). So Win 7 has to wait until I buy a new HD. I don't want to mess around with the partitions, it's pretty easy to fuck up the partition table by doing so and then all my files would be lost.

Though it's very odd to have IE start with Opera. It might be because explorer.exe and iexplorer.exe are interrelated so if you are having trouble with one the other will act up. Who knows. :/

I really don't know what went wrong there. I was able to start Firefox, but it kept crashing on random sites.

Yeah, but aside from pornography, there are resources on the internet for things like this - if you're going to buy them at some point, I don't think you're wrong by watching 'dodgy copies'

There's more than just Futurama and Porn. :P
Besides, why buying porn when you have access to the internet? After all, the internet IS for porn.
So yeah, there are other things I have to buy before Futurama, and it's not porn. :P

I was thinking the same. I bought something from amazon on Friday and the package tracking says: "delivered". Yeah, somewhere in south germany, really funny. But the funniest thing is that there are also two entries "Attempted delivery" with yesterdays date. Thing is, they never attempted to deliver it here, I was at home the whole day. And all of a suddendthe package is delivered in a city more than 500 kilometers south of where I live?
That's strange. Someone else has your 'recreational material'

If you get aroused by the Commercial code, you must be a very strange person. :P

See above. There's only Comedy Central showing it right now, but of course they don't care about the order they show the episodes in.
Ah, the 'mixed bag' choice. Much easier if you try the internet :P

No.

Maybe you could catch an episode with Scruffy.

Maybe. But I'm not even sure when they show Futurama. And I'm too lazy to check right now. :P

If by "gamerpoints" you mean medal points... then you should maybe try the thread called "NG top medal point users list".

Be sure to check the LAST few pages for the LATEST update. The list in the first post is outdated.

Nothing, since you can't rate or flag your own reviews. Yes, I know the browser shows that you rated/flagged your review, but in reality, nothing happens. If you try to vote '+' on one of your reviews where it currently says "No users have weighed in on this review." and you then reload the page, it still says "No users...". If it would count the rating of your own review than the text would change to "People find this review helpful!".

So, you can't flag or rate your own reviews.

Yeah, I confused gfox with gfoxclock then. Or gfoxclock with gfox.
It's one hell of a situation, isn't it - kind of similar to remembering when each Bond actor took over.

Yeah, was it Timothy Dalton before Lazenby or was it the other way round? And when did Moore play Bond? In between them, after both, before both? Confusing. ^^

It's my internet connection. I mean I will check it then quickly refreash the page and it will be unclicked. And also the fact that I was 100% sure it was abusive.

Is there anything I can do about my connection?

Well, it's unlikely that it's your internet connection, more like your browser not caching properly if you already flagged a review or not (or it's a problem on NGs side, like the NG server not setting cookies right that you flagged a review).

I don't think you can do anything about it. Besides, it's really not that important. Just flag the review and move on and don't worry, the flag will go through. Because, if it was your connection to the internet... it would be strange that only the flagging of reviews would be affected by this, wouldn't it? ;)

And what if you have a split personality and log in with one of your alts, thinking this is your main account (because you don't know anything about your other personality) and decide to create an alt (an alt alt so to speak)? Would this still be considered an alt? ^^
.................... Or maybe it would be a main. #;-}>

But then you'd have to log out and come back with yet another personality thinking: "Oh my, Newgrounds is such a cool site, I should sign up here!"

Have fun! :)

3) As EagleRock suggested, having a top 10 pacers would be a great idea but in return, I think the 75+ pacers should go. The new category will show the 10 best pacers of that update which I think is a lot better than showing a few to none users who exceeded 75/day (hell, only two of us got 50+ this week).

Sounds good to me. Over the last few updates only a few users (ie harryjarry) managed to get 75+ B/P a week, so the top 10 pacers of a update would be more interesting to read. Even though I won't ever be on that list. ^^

Another idea I have in mind is mentioning milestones for B/P, so users reaching every 10,000 will be mentioned along with Supreme Commander mentions.

Sounds good as well. :)

UPDATE 15th November 2009

Thanks for the update!

080) 39015 0000 000.0 YoinK -1
081) 38748 0003 000.4 simon
082) 37877 0161 023.0 Haggard 2

Hard to believe, but a long time ago I was ranked in front of simon. I still don't trust him and his low pace, but it looks like I might be able to pass him in about.... 6 weeks if our paces stay the same.
And after that, YoinK isn't too far away either.
Also I'm glad I managed to get over 20 B/P a day this week. :)

083) 37840 0020 002.9 AllReligiousDrunk -1
084) 37801 0000 000.0 IM-KOOL-R-U -1

Thanks for letting me pass. :P

Dadgame

While I appreciate your enthusiams for this club, please refrain from constantly posting off topic things in here. The "Clubs & Crews" section is not for general chit-chat (that's what the General forum is for) but for discussing things with people who share similar interests. So, if you post in a topic in the C&C section that is labled "Review Request Club" then this thread is not for posting what you did or didn't do with friends in real life.

Also, if you are only 12, then you shouldn't even be registered to this site (you have to be 13 to create an account here). However, this isn't that big of a problem.

And what about your review for Dadgame? Is it because you won a medal by doing nothing? Well, this topic isn't about discussing medals (that would be this topic, btw).

So, please do not spam here.
