It sucks, that's for sure. That's really all there is to it. I wouldn't take it out on them, though. They're already have a rough time without you making it worse. Divorce is hard on everyone, don't make it out like you're the only one that is having a hard time.

I get the big bag of the frosted shredded wheat. I have a friend who thinks it's cool to be picky about things. I talked to him about generic cereal before and he said he could taste the difference. Long story short: the hell he can. It's all wheat and sugar.

Yeah, fuck people for wanting to play games at their leisure. They should be shot, hung, and raped in that order for not having video games as their number one priority. Let's try to get game companies to only make text based games so they can concentrate on stories and gameplay!

At 9/11/05 06:23 PM, LuckFarmer wrote: dummer not stupider

Not quite, Ace. I would say less intelligent, however stupider would be more appropriate than dummer. Chiefly because dummer isn't a word. I think you were looking for dumber and even that isn't quite right. Usually you say more dumb, but that doesn't quite fit, hence, less intelligent would have been a choice phrase. I still don't understand why people take the trouble to correct someone and make silly mistakes like that.

On a different note, George Washington owned slaves. Does that make him a worse President? No, it just means that it was a different time period. It's hard to say anything negative against a man as fabled as George Washington, dispite his flaws. I would say that comparing two men in a job that has changed drastically in the past 220 years is pretty silly, especially when one of those men is an American legend.

Dude, stop trying to act tripped out. Unless you're on a meth bender and that's why you've been up for a little over two days, then you're just typing that to act like you're going crazy. 50 hours of wakefullness doesn't make you crazy. Now, if you've been up for several days, definately more than 3, then maybe I could see that.

My dad is a conspiracy nut and he said something along these lines. He said it had to do with EMP waves and ionization. When I asked him if he knew what any of that meant he said no. Just people on the internet trying to act smart by duping people who don't have any clue about science.

Have you gotten to the continuity loss yet? Eventually you can't tell when things happen. Your sense of temporal reference is shot to hell. At least that's what happened to me. I've stayed up for 3 days before. I want to shoot for a week sometime, but it's going to have to wait till the winter since I'll be useless for functioning that whole week, pretty much.

Right, and have the fallout come right back to North Korea. South Korea is too close for them to use nukes without risking damaging their own country. And they have no reason to attack Japan. Are they going to cause an international incident purely out of spite?

I refuse to believe that. I have a kung-fu grip. I guess it's from those fingertip push-ups I do. You stick your fingers out stright so that your last joints are perpendicular to the ground, not parallel. They're hardcore.

Response to: Bone/finger clicking? Posted September 11th, 2005 in General

My knucles, neck, lower back, and right shoulder get tense at times, so popping them separates them a little and helps relieve some of the pressure. It doesn't give you arthritis, by the way, that's a myth.

Actually, it may be manmade, but not by a weather changing device. Think about it, why is the levee broken only by the black communitys. Do you find anything strange about that? The hurricane actually didnt hit us, it hit biloxi. The huricane didnt cause it, they think it was a bargr but i think a barge couldnt have struck 2 areas.

The levees were put under tremendous stress by the hurricane. The fact that the hurricane didn't directly hit New Orleans made it worse, since the winds on the edge are traveling faster than in the center, it's simple rotational velocity. After taking such a beating, the levees could only hold up for so long.

HAHA, Texas beat Michigan in the Rose Bowl last year. It was an excellent game, don't get me wrong, worthy of commemorating the first time these epic programs met. But I guess the Big-10 teams don't fare so well when this Texas team plays them for the first time. I guess that's what happens when you have 11 teams in a conference called the Big-10. And don't excuse it with the logo, come on, we all know it's a weak cover up.

Fli, you are quite the gardener. I can't say I've ever had much gardening experience growing up. My mother had something of a black thumb when it came to caring for plants. Sounds like you have quite a bit of expertise.
