Two of mine are linked to my birthday, August 29'th. The first one is the day that John the Baptist was supposed to be beheaded (of course, that depends on the historical accuracy of the Roman Catholic Church!) and the other coincidence is that on this day in 1949, the Soviets tested their first nuke.
Having your intestines rupture, then dying over the next three weeks as the wound becomes septic, and the doctors are able to do nothing, because the bacteria resist all known antibiotics. Oh yes, this is in a POW camp too, so you don't have any access to pain medications of ANY kind.
I can understand where you're coming from. I have gone through cycles of this in my life. One thing I have learned to do is just have some grace and patience with those around you. Don't worry about what the other people around you are doing, just do your own thing, and try to find those of like mind. That's the beauty of the Internet and conferences like you went to! If you are destined for great things, you will find your path.
The movie has been out on DVD for about a week, I think?
Anyways, the movie was good, in that it showed what would happen to someone who was basically alone, and had no other people to talk with. The mannequins were just a way for Will Smith's character to keep himself from going completely bonkers.
All in all, a decent movie, although the zombie parts of the movie were weak.

I just think that there isn't all that much new information on the game right now, so people are looking at the thread, but not posting in it. That's my best guess.
Most fast food joints will hire someone who is 15 years old. Either that, or try something like a clerk at a convenience store, or a bagboy at some supermarket. Good luck with the job hunting!
A few random videos in my "Misc." folder, the best of the best. It's nice having your own computer and your own room, not having to justify what you view on your computer to anyone.

My scariest moment was when I was walking home from a friends house at about 2 in the morning. I was completely stoned, and stumbling along the middle of the road, when I heard this weird sound behind me. The best way to describe it would be the sound of a tape of a person talking, but playing backwards. I was freaked out, I thought some freak or a ghost was chasing me, but then I started laughing, because i remembered I was fried.
